Answer:	I have a reference file from a veterinarian that I found on line. It evaluates a lot of cat foods for their composition and I reference it so I don't purchase cat food that's too high in carbs or phosphorous. Let me emphasize this isn't from the Purina company itself so I can't guarantee it's accuracy but I use it because I couldn't find anything else. It indicates this particular brand/type is low carb (1% carb per calorie).

Answer:	I'm afraid that all commercial cat food like Meow Mix and Fancy Feast and the like will have crap in them. I have six cats and it gets expensive. I feed them grain free dry food and in between give them wet food. You have to go up in price with the wet food, but sometimes, the taste isn't always that great. I suppose Iams and Science Diet would be better for you in the wet food range.
