A 6lb bag feeds my Shih-Tzu for a month, 15lb for 2.5 months, give or take as his appetite varies. Her weight is great (which was always an issue with other foods) and I like that it's made here in the US. We also love that it is affordable compared to so many of the grain-free foods out there I'd prefer to feed her. I feel like it's certainly the 'next best thing' because we can actually afford to buy it all of the time. We switch back and forth between the Large breed Lamb and Rice and the Large Breed Chicken and Rice simply because I think a varied diet is beneficial. |

| Answer: | This is a chicken and brown rice blend and it is a 15 pound bag. Since it contains brown rice, barley, and oatmeal, I don't think it's technically "grain-free". However it does not contain any corn, wheat, or soy products.The ingredient list does include different veggies (sweet potato, peas, etc) as well as antioxidant-rich fruit (pomegranate, blueberries). There are a variety of supplemental vitamins added, too. As with all Blue Buffalo products (I think), the first ingredient listed is meat (in this case deboned chicken) so that constitutes the greatest proportion of all the ingredients listed. It also notes that it doesn't contain any chicken/poultry by-product meals. |

| Answer: | The Blue Buffalo line of dry cat food products are primarily sold in three distinct sizes (3 lbs, 7 lbs and 15 lbs.), and comes in a variety of flavors, etc. For example, I used to purchase their Adult Cat Indoor dry cat food in a 15 lb. sack. My cats had difficulty digesting this variety and were throwing up, were shedding everywhere, my female suffered horribly from sensitive skin, my male was doing territorial offerings and had lumps appearing under his left arm pit. I When I switched to the Blue Buffalo Adult Sensitive Stomach formula, I definitely noticed a significant positive difference in both of them; their coats got thicker, their sensitive skin improved (my female) the throwing up episodes have all but disappeared (my male was continually throwing up), unless I feed them wet food portions that they really don't need. their weight has decreased, all these improvements have occurred within a 2-3 week period, I have now been feeding both my babies this formula for 3-4 months and will continue to do so. Now wet food is only given is tiny portions, and only high grade chicken and wild salmon no more then twice daily, sometimes only in the morning!
