| Answer: | This blade cover is available in two sizes, either 5-6 inch or 7-8 inch. Most likely you'll need the larger one, but what you need to do: at the bottom of the drill, measure the distance from blade-tip to blade-tip to determine the diameter of the hole it will make. While MORA drills come in three sizes (6",7",8"), I suspect most sold were 8 inch. Incidentally, just for fun-- the original MORA (now apparently part of Rapala VMC Group) hand auger/ice drill is made by a company named after the city of Mora, which is situated on a fairly large lake in south-central Sweden, Lake Siljan. It's pronounced "MOO-ra". (I learned how to water ski on one ski there.) Eskimo brand is apparently a pretty accurate copy of the MORA ice drill. |
