Answer:	You are correct. There is a small hoop at the bottom section to anchor the line, but it is really up to you. I strung the line through the top eye and then wrapped it around the pole about two fee from the top, tied it tight and then covered it with duck tape. Not elegant, but it works.

Answer:	I'm kind of a handyman type and am always using / inventing items differently from their intended use; however, I'm not sure how practical your modified use will work because the tip of the rod is very very fragile and because it is made from graphite, it is very brittle and will snap very easily. Because it is graphite, I assume that it will conduct electricity and if the constant snapping of the tip is of no concern, then I suppose it will work.The longest pole I have is 21' and the butt is about 1" thick and the tip is about the thickness of a pencil lead; if I shake it about 1/4" to 1/2" while holding it at the butt, the tip will whip about 3' or slightly more. So, it is very very whippy and very very delicate and will fracture if it happens to bump anything solid. My guess is that it is far too fragile for your intended use. Good luck, hope this helps some. The model I am describing is the Goture 630. Aloha.

Question:	What is the "blc" model? it appears to have a click drag. if so, will the 2/3 be stocked in the disk drag model
Answer:	I ordered the pre spooled 3/4 version a couple of years back. It was disk drag and the quality wasn't that great. Do yourself a favor and spend 20 more dollars and pick up an okuma slv 2/3. It has a disk drag and is a stellar bargain.
Question:	What's the diameter of the 2/3 wt reel
Answer:	3 inches in diameter on a 3/4 it on a 4 wt . It will hold over a quarter inch of backing plus a full 4 wt fly line.
Question:	How is the noise level when reeling in line? Is it loud or quiet
Answer:	reeling in the line, there is no sound. also you can "palm" the reel for more rapid retrieval of line "like you see the pro's do" on the fishing shows. there is the usual clicking with pulling line off the reel. Had a fly fishing pro try the reel and he was impressed. Hope this helps. M
