Answer:	Both the knife and sheath have an attachment point for a paracord lanyard. I made a simple loop through the handle of the knife with paracord. I attached the other end of the paracord to my belt loop and slide the knife into my pocket. When I am at camp it is around my neck. I added a metal clip to the paracord for easy on and off action. The case snaps firmly on the knife and can have a loop of lanyard installed on it too.

Answer:	According to Greg Ellefritz, who designed the knife, the hole is to facilitate drawing the knife when against a flat surface. The knife is properly held in the fist so that it protrudes when punching.

Answer:	A karambit style knife is a useful tool but only if you can draw it from a secured sheath correctly and away from your body— quickly. I carry this one concealed in appendix style (abdomen carry) but I also got a belt attachment to secure the sheath and the knife to my waistband. The sheath it comes in is meant for around the neck carry which isn’t necessarily the fastest draw, particularly with the variants of clothing or otherwise in the way— and especially because the knife is locked into that sheath fairly tightly. (A good thing, but restrictive for neck carry.) Just my two cents. As always, train like you fight. With any knife or other weapon you might carry in similar circumstances. -female firearms & tactics instructor and concealed carry practitioner.

Answer:	Blade itself is about 2 1/2 in. This knife fits so well in my hand I bought two. I love the skeleton handle. Also does come with a black cord for a handle wrap. No belt loop on hard plastic case but due to side holes all the way around, can be mounted on belt sideways.... This is by far my favorite self defense carry. Schrade sch111 came well packaged and even slightly oiled. These guys are great !!!!

Answer:	In addition to what -Keith- said, 9Cr18MoV is a Chinese steel. You'll start to recognize their naming pattern after a while: 8Cr13MoV, Y3Cr13, 3Cr13Mo, 4Cr13, 1Cr17Ni2, 7Cr17, 8Cr17, 9Cr18, 11Cr17, Y11Cr17, 9Cr18Mo, etc, all Chinese.
Question:	What does it mean that the snap is fixed
Answer:	No it sharpens quite easily it also comes quite sharp out of the box. It has a tiny micro bevel but it's very easy to remove if you want to make it a scandi grind. It took me about 20 minutes to have it just the way I wanted it.

Answer:	I don't have the ankle wrap, I bought mine a few years back.. the ghoststrike sheath is a pretty tight fit, I suppose you could as long as the screws and rivets line up (without punching holes in the wrap). I think you'll be happy with the Gerber sheath though.

Answer:	Well in my opinion all knives should be sharp when new. I don't expect it to be a razor but it's always nice if it is. This knife that I got was dull to the point it was dangerous to use. Had to hack or dig at anything I wanted cut. Used a whet stone on it to get it where I think is accepttable.

Answer:	It comes in the belt mount . The ankle strap is included along with extra screws to mount on ankle wrap .

Answer:	They make Kaiser blades and machetes for cutting branches. A knife 10 inches in length or shorter is made for spilling guts not cutting limbs. It is not of any value if someone takes it from you and cute you up with it because you do not know what you’re doing. Hope that helps
