Answer:	I believe it does.
Question:	Can these be uses for carp
Answer:	The hooks are perfect for carp, I would ball up dough bait or thread corn onto the #4 Baitholder hook and cover it up easily. If your fishing in a pond or small lake 1 or 2 of the #7 sinkers will work great. I typically fish off the bottom with this setup and have success with carp in the 2-4 pound range in our local carp hole. So the answer is your good if this is the case, if not here is some more detail. Typically, carp fishing is done without a bobber (watching your rod tip with taut line), but if you do want a bite indicator I would recommend a slip bobber to manage various depths. This kit sports the basic clip bobbers which I recommend for Panfish. Furthermore, if you are fishing in a larger body of water, or a river/stream with current you need to get some larger weights. Ideally egg sinkers 1/4 oz for a stream/lake and 1 oz for river, thread a bead on in front of it to reduce chafe and tie on a barrel swivel. Then tie on a 1-2 ft. leader of the monofilament (or fluorocarbon) you are using from the swivel to a baitholder hook in the #4-#6 range. So if you are going to go for Carp in a bigger body of water, you should check out our Tailored Tackle Freshwater Fishing Kit, it has the slip float rig set up, egg sinkers, swivels, beads, and #6 baitholder hook and the split shot sinkers too. Answer:	The larger circle hooks are great for catfish. If you are catching them in a pond this will work. If you are trying to catch them in a larger lake or river, you will need larger weights to keep your bait down with the current. Answer:	Yes there is a snap in insert in the organic cotton version I bought but not in the new born ones I got. The new born ones only lasted a couple of weeks and then we're too short for a boy. It’s a little loose and can wiggle out of place, which would cause no power to the LED. Good news is, the LED not being powered has ZERO effect on the functionality, only cosmetics.
