Answer:	Yes it is boot size. They run slightly larger, but I wear a size 10 shoe and the size 10 waders fit comfortably.

Answer:	I just bought a pair. I am 5'-11". The waders are so long that if I tighten the suspenders as far as rhe will go, the top of the waders is right under my arm pits and still baggy around the knees. I am trying to find out if there is a shorter version available. Otherwise I like them. I wear size 10.5 shoe and bought size 11. The boots fit fine.

Answer:	I shared your same concern because they are cheap. However I've worn mine out this season a few times with no issues. The boots don't have much padding, but it wasn't noticeable. The only thing I noticed is that the boots will "suction" to your feet a little more under water. All in all, I'd buy them again. Don't forget a wading belt though!

Answer:	Are you walking in the creek for more than a few minutes? These are great for quick crossings, not for up and down creeks really. They aren't thick enough to handle that of a lot of sticks etc. If you're just occasionally crossing knee deep water then taking them off, they are awesome
