I prefer the soft rubber spatula to the harder silicone ones that are totally dishwasher safe. Being more flexible does the job better for me!

Answer:	Mine says made in Thailand. They also make them in China. As far as I understand, when Meyer Corporation bought Farberware in 1997 they stopped manufacturing in the USA. What a shame.

Answer:	Suzie Q made a great point about it not being induction stove top compatible. This is not due to the stainless it's because this line of Faberware Stainless has what is called an aluminum clad bottom. Aluminum is not conductive with induction cooking. I've owned this line of Faberware by the way for over 40 years and it is still my favorite daily go to pans. Only negative is they quit making the 5 quart saucepan with likd like this. They make a 5quat deep fryer with holes in side for draining etc. and basket insert but that no longer works as a popcorn popper and my husband after 35 years of trying to convince to make popcorn in our stainless pans and stop the yearly popcorn popper concept his family would always feed him via bd and xmas gifts as it was his yet again request because most burned up within a years almost daily use. He finally took me up on my way and quickly became a FAN and stole my one and only 5Quart Faberware Classic pan...so I bought the deep fryer and it is never used. I found one used on Ebay and bought it but took 2 years of searching and entering it to be notified if one shows up. So now we have two and are no longer in almost daily battle as to who's pan is it. Females tend to FIX problems and compromise both the guys from Mar's just like to haggle:))) After 48 Years my job is to outsmart the guys from Mars and make it a WIN WIN for both sides. Love these pans and yes we do take good care of them. And use gas ranges. But they do not work with induction burners due to the aluminum clad bottoms which help distribute heat and avoid hot/cold spots.

Answer:	They're not the "non-stick" like Teflon. In fact, when I first got them, I was afraid they'd be difficult to clean. Not so! Hardly anything sticks. If it does (I still haven't mastered making omelets in the frying pans), a quick soak in soapy water followed by a good hand washing cleans them right up! I'd take these over the more "traditional" non-stick any day. No worries about chemicals leaching out of a treated surface into the food since it's simply metal. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The set, came with 3 sauce pans with lids, 2 fry pans and a Dutch oven with a lid. The largest lid fits the Dutch oven but does NOT fit the larger fry pan. Because of the flare of the sides of the fry pan, the inside diameter is 10-1/4" while the straight-sided Dutch oven inside diameter is 9-1/2". I hope this helps you.

Question:	Is it made in China
Answer:	There is not a big difference between 1 and 1.5qts. You might not notice it in a picture and they may even have used the same picture!
Question:	How many watts
Answer:	I donot have an induction cooktop. I do however have the regular glass top. The key to both these tops is to use flat cookware, because they conduct heat better and more evenly. I do have the Cuisinart 719-14. Absolutely no disapointments. Great product. WRH
Question:	Is the nonstick made out of toxic or nontoxic material? thx
Answer:	Induction cooktops plainly state that 18=8 and 18-10 stainless does not work on an induction cooktop!!! Tain't gonna happen! I have an expensive set of Calphalon tri-clad cookware that is 18-8 and magnets will not stick to the bottom at all... and on the sides only enough to support the weight of the magnet. Touch it and it falls off. It does NOT work on my induction cooktop. I guess that the nickel alloy negates the steel
Question:	Cuantos wats de consumo tiene
Answer:	The handle on the lid does get hot so use a rag when lifting the lid, but the handle on the pot stays rather cool, but you should always use a rag or some kind of protection any way. A dry rag is always a better insulator than a wet rag. A good cook is always cautious with all cooking ware. If you're using a flame or high heat turn it off before moving the pot. Safety first. There's more to being a good cook than just recipes.
