User questions & answers
Question: | Does the arrow go on the left or riggt side? From the pictures it looks like the left side |
Answer: | I’m not sure if this company sells the Velcro attachment separately or not. However, I bought double sided sticky Velcro from Walmart. CVS has it too. It worked just fine! I hope that helps. |
Question: | Can you use Fast Flight strings on this bow |
Answer: | I ordered the one that looks exactly like this one for $30+ dollars, and there is no difference in size. They are exactly the same. |
Question: | Do I need to remove the string after each use |
Answer: | It comes with batteries. I believe they are triple A batteries. The instructions do suggest that rechargeable batteries are a good option. I just use regular batteries. I use the light a lot and have replaced batteries once in several months |
Question: | Are the limbs black or clear fiberglass |
Answer: | Yes, they will work together. |
Question: | Is the draw length 28" for whichever weight I order? Are there options for overall length and draw length |

Question: | Does this bow available for left hands |
Answer: | Sorry we do not have any fitment applications for the #5064 mounting to the aftermarket lowers. Sincerely, Greg |
Question: | Whats the recommended arrow weight for a 45 pound bow |
Answer: | The #5064 is not designed to be turned off during the day. It is a plug in play application, you could hard wire a switch in line to turn on and off. Sincerely, Greg |
Question: | Could someone please clarify, "arrow weight have to more than the poundage of the bow multiply by 0.6 " if you multiply by .6 you get less weight |
Answer: | This would depend on the base and connection size more than the bulb size. This is meant to be used with a standard E26 bulb base connector. |

Question: | can this be used by a 14 year old boy |
Answer: | I have the black painted one so I am sure it could with enamel spray paint or what ever you wish. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it good for my 13 year old |
Answer: | Without knowing more about the child's size and abilities, I would say that this might be a little small for a teenager, as my 8 year old daughter can handle it rather easily. The Bear Archery Wizard Set, Which is rated for 8-10 years would offer more of a challenge, at a minimal cost increase, but if you think that they are interested enough to stick with it I would recommend, The Bear Crusader set, as it would last them much longer as their strength and skill improve. |
Question: | What length are the arrows |
Answer: | 27" from nock to point, probably 23" draw length. Great beginner set, my 4.5 and 7-year-olds love it! |
Question: | Want to get this for my 9yr old girl. Wondering if its to small or she'll outgrow it too fast? Other choice is Barnett Outdoors Lil Banshee Jr |
Answer: | Yes - this bow will quickly become too small for a 9 year old girl, or will be too small right from the start. Check the bear archery website, the youth bow section. You'd probably be better off getting the 'Wizard', which is the exact same bow but longer. This matters most because of the DRAW LENGTH. This one is very short - only 16" - which means she can only pull back about 16" before the bow "stacks up" or becomes impractical to pull back further. This forces bad form and bad shooting. The difference in price will be near negligible, so go ahead and get the right size, if there is even a small chance that archery will be more than a passing fancy for your daughter. |
Question: | Does it come with finger tab and target? Under description it shows it but under what's in the box it does not |
Answer: | Yes, it comes with the finger tab, a small paper target, and a quiver (but no belt or strap to put the quiver on) |

User questions & answers
Question: | How do I order the pistol grip for it |
Answer: | It's easy...just do the math. If your bow is let's say 30# @ 28" your arrow must have minimum weight of 30 multiplied by 0.6 30*0.6 = 18 grain. Now if your draw length is 30" you must realize your draw force will increase, roughly 2# /inch. So your actually draw force will be 34# @30" thus you will need your arrows 34*0.6 = 20.4 grains, and also a greater arrow spine. You must account for your draw length and estimete the force of the bow at your draw length and all this will influence your arrow weight and spine. Hope this helps :) |
Question: | What do you recommend for finishing the bow |
Answer: | The 0019BZ is 19" tall. If you order a landscape light made by Hinkley most likely it will come supplied with a stake already. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the bow come with an arrow rest or a notch to notch the arrow in place before shooting (not the string |
Answer: | You mean a rest on the bow itself? If so, yes, the handle juts out to both sides for an arrow to rest on, thus making it ambidextrous. |
Question: | does it come with arrows |
Answer: | It does not come with arrows, but we love the bow. There are plenty of good deals on target arrows. I didn't have any problem with the arrows with the plastic feathers. They hold up well and so do the fiberglass shanks. Better get some extras, as they can get lost or the plastic nocks some times break off. 28" is about right. |
Question: | Which item is sold, Titan or Cherokee |
Answer: | Not unusual for Amazon to have the wrong description on an item. Happens a lot. The one we have at Valley Sports and More is the AYS6500 Titan with a 22-28 inch draw.If you have any more questions about pricing or the product don't hesitate to call us.Ron SchmidtValley Sports and More360-755-0665 |

Question: | How difficult is this bo to string and set up also when I’m not using it do I have to on string the bow |
Answer: | It is a light bow so isn't difficult to string. Check YouTube for videos on how to string the bow without a bow stringer. It is always a good idea to un-string a bow when not using it. |
Question: | I purchased this bow a while back. Got the green one. Can anyone tell me about the grey one |
Answer: | the grey one is grey, if you have the green one & now looking for a better bow i recommend the samick sage recurve, you will be amazed at the improvement, just decide if you step up to 35 or 40lb draw weight. enjoy ! |
Question: | a reviewer said they did not get a string with it. does this bow come with the string |
Answer: | Yes, it does come with a string. Its a good bow but the center guide will fall off and after a while the center hand piece will also start coming off. But trying to do a RMA is of no use. YOu will pay more for the shipping than the cost of the bow. Hope this helps. But still its a good bow, I have used it for almost 2yrs now and very silent one. I just shoot targets and not animals. |
