User questions & answers
Question: | What length Arrows does it come with |
Answer: | Draw weight limbs? I'm not expirenced in this hobby/field, but from what you are asking and I can assume, yes. The bow itself is disassembled when you receive it. The two limbs I am assuming what they are, are able to be assembled. However, you may want to be specific on the size, when you attach a longer length onto this bow, as there's this design to prevent it from moving or slipping to the side, after you screw the nobs in place to hold these two arms. |
Question: | i have never used a bow and arrow do think this will be a good traing bow |
Answer: | Dear Customer, Thank you for your question. usually it is possible to express, but please consult the express company for specific conditions,Just in case. |
Question: | what size of extra arrows do in need to order with the Bear scout youth bow |
Answer: | Haven't had to yet but would go to a Sporting Goods store but, I will check Amazon to check there first. |
Question: | Why does the packaging say there is a threat of cancer and hands must be washed after use |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it good for my 13 year old |
Answer: | Without knowing more about the child's size and abilities, I would say that this might be a little small for a teenager, as my 8 year old daughter can handle it rather easily. The Bear Archery Wizard Set, Which is rated for 8-10 years would offer more of a challenge, at a minimal cost increase, but if you think that they are interested enough to stick with it I would recommend, The Bear Crusader set, as it would last them much longer as their strength and skill improve. |
Question: | What length are the arrows |
Answer: | 27" from nock to point, probably 23" draw length. Great beginner set, my 4.5 and 7-year-olds love it! |
Question: | Want to get this for my 9yr old girl. Wondering if its to small or she'll outgrow it too fast? Other choice is Barnett Outdoors Lil Banshee Jr |
Answer: | Yes - this bow will quickly become too small for a 9 year old girl, or will be too small right from the start. Check the bear archery website, the youth bow section. You'd probably be better off getting the 'Wizard', which is the exact same bow but longer. This matters most because of the DRAW LENGTH. This one is very short - only 16" - which means she can only pull back about 16" before the bow "stacks up" or becomes impractical to pull back further. This forces bad form and bad shooting. The difference in price will be near negligible, so go ahead and get the right size, if there is even a small chance that archery will be more than a passing fancy for your daughter. |
Question: | Does it come with finger tab and target? Under description it shows it but under what's in the box it does not |
Answer: | Yes, it comes with the finger tab, a small paper target, and a quiver (but no belt or strap to put the quiver on) |

User questions & answers
Question: | I have the tube connected peepsight. does anyone know what size this peepsight is |
Answer: | probably a 3/16" hole size. |
Question: | Can it do a 25 pound draw weight |
Answer: | While both the seller and manufacturer have responded that it can be set to 25 pounds, what they are not telling you is that the range of 5-70 pounds is dependent on the draw length (which can be set from 12-30 inches). The shorter the draw length, the higher the lowest poundage will be - which is the exact opposite of what you usually need. If you buy this for a teen with a short draw length, then the minimum draw weight you can get it to will NOT be 5 pounds. The only way to get it that low is to increase the draw length to it's maximum. For my son, who has a 26 inch draw length at 14 years old, the lowest draw weight I can get it to is 30 pounds! The limb bolts have an amazing 12 full rotations of adjustment (double what any of my other bows have). DO NOT exceed 12 full rotations (or whatever the sticker on the riser says), no matter what anyone tells you - you risk the bow 'exploding' if the limb bolt pulls out of the riser! Be well, Don |
Question: | Looking for a good package for 20 year old beginner, does this fit the bill |
Answer: | Bought this for myself as a beginner (well over 20 years old). You'll want to take it to your local archery dealer (small biz or Bass/Cabelas/Dicks. They will charge $30 or so to adjust it to the user and should let you fire several until it is accurate. Worth it. Make sure all of the screws are tightened. The piece in the lower half that reaches back to the string came out in the case. Unless the user is particularly strong, you may want to decrease the tension right away. 4-5 turns (allen wrench included) brought it to about 40 - 45 lbs. (still plenty fast). By many experienced accounts, this bow should last for years of target practice and hunting. |
Question: | Ok what to order this but dont know what hand i should order left or right?w, should I get left |
Answer: | If your right handed buy the right handed bow or left if your a lefty. A right handed archer holds the bow with there left hand and draws back the arrow with there right hand. Hope this helps you out. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the bow come with an arrow rest or a notch to notch the arrow in place before shooting (not the string |
Answer: | You mean a rest on the bow itself? If so, yes, the handle juts out to both sides for an arrow to rest on, thus making it ambidextrous. |
Question: | does it come with arrows |
Answer: | It does not come with arrows, but we love the bow. There are plenty of good deals on target arrows. I didn't have any problem with the arrows with the plastic feathers. They hold up well and so do the fiberglass shanks. Better get some extras, as they can get lost or the plastic nocks some times break off. 28" is about right. |
Question: | Which item is sold, Titan or Cherokee |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can a peep sight be installed |
Answer: | The units we EPC are selling are in Grade A condition. However, the units may not have the backlit keyboard. The listing is vague on that and we're working with Amazon to edit that to non-backlit. |
Question: | can this be used by a 14 year old boy |
Answer: | If you meant SD card, yes, it has one. |
Question: | How long are the arrows |
Answer: | It may or may not have a backlit keyboard on this unit. We get these units in from our suppliers with both backlit and non-backlit keyboards. We refurbish them all and don't separate them in our inventory. They all are sold together as one model number. Consequently, you may get a backlit keyboard and you may not. Because all of our inventory is then shipped into Amazon's warehouses, we have no way to know which specific unit you might be receiving. Because of this reason, we do not list this laptop as having a backlit keyboard even though there is a good chance that the one you receive may have it. Hope that helps. |
Question: | Are sights included |
Answer: | Actual weight is 3.4lb base weight. |

Answer: | The Firebird has a higher draw weight of 30-35 lbs. Thanks. |
Question: | How difficult is this bo to string and set up also when I’m not using it do I have to on string the bow |
Answer: | It is a light bow so isn't difficult to string. Check YouTube for videos on how to string the bow without a bow stringer. It is always a good idea to un-string a bow when not using it. |
Question: | I purchased this bow a while back. Got the green one. Can anyone tell me about the grey one |
Answer: | the grey one is grey, if you have the green one & now looking for a better bow i recommend the samick sage recurve, you will be amazed at the improvement, just decide if you step up to 35 or 40lb draw weight. enjoy ! |
Question: | a reviewer said they did not get a string with it. does this bow come with the string |
Answer: | Yes, it does come with a string. Its a good bow but the center guide will fall off and after a while the center hand piece will also start coming off. But trying to do a RMA is of no use. YOu will pay more for the shipping than the cost of the bow. Hope this helps. But still its a good bow, I have used it for almost 2yrs now and very silent one. I just shoot targets and not animals. |

User questions & answers
Question: | trophy ridge 3 pin sight, whisker biscuit rest, stabilizer, 5 arrow quiver, peep sight and tube, and d-loop are all these items pre installed |
Answer: | Yes, all of that was pre installed. |
Question: | How much does the bow weigh |
Answer: | Don’t know for fact, but feels to me to be between 3.5-4.5lbs |
Question: | What is the axle to axle length |
Answer: | 31 1/4" axle to axle. |
Question: | Does anyone know why i cant find any info on this bow on google |
Answer: | This is a remake of the 2014-2015 Bear Attitude bow with the same string / cable length. It generates 310fps IBO speed and has more than enough energy for hunting / archery use. The Rant has a very easy forgiving draw cycle due to its circular cams that is not harsh and has a rock solid back wall due to its adjustable draw stop located on the lower cam. String length - 93 5/8 inch / Buss Cable 33 1/4 inch. You do not need a bow press to adjust the draw length on this bow. You can adjust the draw length by just using a T15 star Torx bit and moving the draw module and draw stop on the lower cam. I dab the threads with clear nail polish so they stay tight. Adjusting the limb bolts is done with a 3/16 allen wrench to lower the limb draw weight from 70lbs down to 50lbs pull. To me the 70lbs feels like a regular bow 60lbs pull and a 60lbs pull feels like a 50lbs pull due to the cams being circular and very easy to pull / draw. |

Question: | Can this bow be fit with an arrow guide? Which One |

Answer: | No, it doesn't pull strong enough for the arrow to have enough momentum for any kind of hunting. |
