| Answer: | G5 Montecs are excellent broadheads. I have used them on deer and elk and had pass throughs. However, if you are concerned about penetration, then choose a 2 blade, single bevel broadhead. Something like Dirt Nap or Grizzly single bevel. Also, the speed and weight of your arrow greatly determines the overall penetration. Most broadheads do an acceptable job of cutting soft tissue but they are only good as long as they are razor sharp and have the proper arrow pushing them through! |

LUIS R. believe it when I tell you how strong the G-5 100 grain-montec broad-heads are!! one year I split a 9or 10 th rib and still took-out both lungs- it was one of those odd-angle shots,but he was starting to look like he was going to turn and run away.you know some time you have to take the shot that is presented to you,{ or later kick your self for not taking it. any way I had to re-sharpen the three blades, but only a few passes with a fine-tooth file, and I used the same broad-head to take a big doe a month later! it's a great broad-head !! hope this help's, and good luck in the coming hunting season! |

| Answer: | No. This is not meant to be a DIY kit. I needed to purchase a line set long enough for my installation, 3 conductor 12 gauge wire to power it and four conductor 14 gauge wire to connect the indoor and outdoor units. You will need to buy a mount for the outdoor unit to wall mount or build a suitable pad to support the unit on the ground. The unit comes with refrigerant but you will need to use a vacuum pump to evacuate the line set and indoor unit BEFORE releasing the refrigerant into the system. A line set cover should be purchased to keep the weather off of your line set. I actually did this myself and spent about a thousand dollars over the cost of the unit to buy a vacuum pump, tubing flare tool, wall bracket, line set cover, vacuum gauge, Nylog Blue, adapter/service fittings, etc. But I learned, I did the job at my own pace and the system works great in my detached garage. There are some great, detailed videos on YouTube to learn from. Unfortunately, you may void your warranty on this product if you don’t hire a refrigeration technician to connect your refrigerant lines, pull a vacuum and release refrigerant into the system. I decided it was worth the risk and liked what I read about the Gree company and the Comfort Up vendor. |
