The bow features a 35” axle to axle, 30” draw length, 270 FPS. This compressed ABS limb spans balance, weight and strength to continue the life of the bow. This compound has a strong piece layered limb used to draw weights up to 70 lbs. Loosening the bolt will decrease the draw weight by 5 pounds & tightening it will increase the weight 5 pounds. The limbs are accommodated in place by the back pivoting limb pockets, a strong connection with rigid tolerances for enhanced accuracy. A curb appeal is given to the bow by the riser. The number of cut outs in the riser provides the compound bow a waffle look.
When the string is pulled back, the bow takes 70 lbs of force and it happens prior to the twin cam idlers activate. When the string is released, an arrow is launched at an outstanding speed of 270 feet per second.

If you are looking for your draw length, then measure your wingspan and divide it by 2.5. This should get you in the ball park for draw length. Draw weight is the amount of weight you need to get the bow to full draw. This is more of trial and error/what you feel most comfortable with. But the arrows can't be fitted with lumenocks or anything to find uour arrows so me personally I'd go with a barnette that you can use lumenocks with. |

I'm not familiar with the Leader, but from what I saw it also has great reviews for the price range and either would make a fine bow for cheaper than the alternative. |

| Answer: | Hello Krysten,There are a couple of Alan headed bolts on the front at both ends of the riser that you use a Alan wrench to adjust. Each full turn of the bolts changes poundage by 5 lb. ( 1 full turn = 5 lb ). According to the instructions I received with mine you shouldn't turn the adjustment bolt more than one full turn without turning the other a full turn because it could allegedly cause damage to it and you shouldn't turn either bolt anymore than 6 full revolutions any direction. So, I guess the short answer to your question on if you need a bow press is "NO It Doesn't"! :) Also, I bought one and it is a nice bow and compares with other much more expensive one's and I believe it is nice than the latter. The only thing I don't care much for is the handle, but I think that is the style now a days.Sincerely,Jim |
