6 best compound bow ever mades

Compound bows are advanced and modern iterations of traditional bows, designed to enhance accuracy, power, and ease of use in archery. These bows feature a system of cables and pulleys, known as cams, which allow the archer to hold a heavy draw weight at full draw but reduce it significantly once the bow is fully drawn. This "let-off" allows for a steadier aim and more precise shots.

When it comes to compound bow maintenance accessories, there are several key items that archers often use to keep their bows in top condition:

  1. Bowstring Wax: Regularly waxing the bowstring helps protect it from wear and tear, as well as from the elements. This is crucial for maintaining string longevity and performance.

  2. Bowstring Serving Kit: Serving is a type of thread used to reinforce and protect the bowstring where it makes contact with the cams and other components. A serving kit is handy for making repairs and adding extra protection.

  3. Allen Wrench Set: Compound bows often have adjustable components that require Allen wrenches for tuning. Having a set of wrenches with various sizes is essential for making necessary adjustments.

  4. Bow Press: A bow press is a tool used for compressing the limbs of a compound bow. This is necessary for string and cable replacement, as well as for making certain adjustments to the bow.

  5. Peep Sight Installer/Adjuster: A peep sight is a small aperture that archers look through to align their sight pins. An installer and adjuster tool helps in setting up and fine-tuning the peep sight.

  6. Arrow Puller: Retrieving arrows from targets can be challenging, especially if they are deeply embedded. An arrow puller provides a good grip and makes it easier to remove arrows without causing damage.

  7. Bow Stand: A bow stand is a simple but useful accessory for keeping the bow off the ground when not in use. It prevents the bow from coming into contact with dirt and debris.

  8. String Dampeners: These accessories are designed to reduce vibration and noise generated by the bowstring upon release. They enhance the shooting experience and help maintain the bow's stealthiness in hunting situations.

  9. Arrow Rests and Sights: While not strictly maintenance accessories, arrow rests and sights are critical components for accuracy. Regularly checking and adjusting these components ensures consistent arrow flight.

  10. Bow Case: A durable bow case is essential for protecting the compound bow during transport. It shields the bow from bumps, scratches, and adverse weather conditions.

It's important for archers to regularly inspect and maintain their compound bows to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Using the right accessories and tools can contribute significantly to the overall shooting experience.

User questions & answers

Question: how long are the arrows
Answer: Sounds like you're describing the stabilizing weight that screws into the front of the bow OR the rubber arrow pulling grip tool used to pull arrows out of targets that can be hard to pull out.
Question: does this bow have the two hole to mount a bowfishing reel to it
Answer: There are 3 pieces of accessories that comes with this bow. The stabilizer, the arrow rest and the sight. Take a look at the picture of the product. It is not difficult to figure out how to slab them together. However, it is tricky to center and adjust the arrow rest and to calibrate each pin on the sight. I recommend you to Google it. Also, you may want to buy some nocking points and a bow square to help you install it right.
Question: Is it threaded for a stabilizer? I cant tell by the picture, thanks
Answer: Need not
Question: can you add a bow fishing reel to it
Answer: It’s a double bevel

User questions & answers

Question: Do these bows come with an arrow rest
Answer: We bought it for my granddaughter who shoots competitively in high school. She is rather petite and doesn’t have a lot of strength in her arm. The tension is adjustable and the size is perfect for a young teenager, perhaps even younger. For an older teenager I would go to the next size up. This was recommended to her by her Archery coach if that helps.
Question: Does this bow actually shoot at 10 pounds, or do the arrows just drop in front of you
Answer: Mini Genesis bows are 6-12lbs.
Question: What other accessories/setup would I need to start using/enjoying this from the time of arrival? Backyard has space. We're brand new
Answer: I need this in left hand
Question: If I want to order more arrows, what would I need to search for? Is there a certain size or type
Answer: I've enjoyed shooting my bow. I have mine set with a 65 lb pull. When I release the arrow, it's silent. A hard at arrow would go through any human being. It's everything advartised and more. I highly recommend this bow kit. Let me know how it performs for you and go to M1 Bow on YouTube for set up.

TRUGLO Bow Jack Folding Bow Stand

TRUGLO

  • RUBBER
  • Imported
  • Lightweight and durable
  • Overmolded rubber grips the limb for secure no-slip fit; Won’t scratch limb surface
  • Folds to fit easily in a pocket or a pack; Easy one-hand operation with integrated finger tabs
  • Stainless steel hardware; Recessed spring won’t snag
  • Patented; Fits most bows and crossbows up to 3 1/8 in. limb width

User questions & answers

Question: Are you able to shoot with it still on your bow
Answer: A quarter inch.
Question: Will this stand work for a genesis bow
Answer: I have only he blue and gray band and I would estimate its weight equivalency to about 30-35 pounds for each arm when my feet are shoulder width. I'm only 5' 8" so if you're taller (or spread your legs a little) it would feel like more weight. From a door anchor it's the same principle in that you can move further to increase the resistance. I've been through a lot of bands over the past few years and this one is by far the best one I've had. You won't be disappointed with them.
Question: Is this the mini or the full size
Answer: A separate "door attachment" or "premium door attachment" can be purchased separately. You do not need to remove the handles, as long as they can be pushed through the loop on the door attachment it will work.
Question: How well would this work on the Hoyt Defiant
Answer: 50 inches from handle to handle - while limp and unstretched
