Answer:	Yes. On the tag you are shown the month and year of manufacture. Below this it says "This product must be discarded after five (5) years of the manufacture date shown above, or after arresting a fall, whichever is sooner." I think this is standard industry guidelines

Answer:	As far as I know 1 size fits all. The Safety rope is adjustable that goes around the tree that you hook your harness to. It works great which I have also purchased extras for multiple stands. I absolutely love mine. I hunt a lot which means I need comfort. Looks good too. Linemen belt doesn’t come with it but I purchased one off of amazon. Hope this helps!

Answer:	No, mine came with padded shoulder straps and waist ban. I will say even without the padded leg straps it is a very comfortable safety harness. I have mine for a few seasons now and it is perfect for my needs.

Question:	Safe for projects on the roof
Answer:	It could be safe, but it would only be as safe as what you would tether it to on the roof structure. That aspect is life and death. I have hung in mid air , close to ground, while testing it out.

Answer:	I am 5'6" 130 so i have a sm/md, but it would easily adjust to fit up to a 36 size waist, these are supposed to fit snugly. I would recommend the sm for you.

Where on the harness are to loops to hook the lineman belt

Answer:

I never use a lineman belt with this. I don't know if they say you can, but it doesn't have the proper design for it. I used an actual lineman belt at work, so I have that as reference. This is not designed as a lineman type harness. It may come with a belt, but you would use that belt wrapped around your waist and the tree separately, not attached to this harness. What I did was use a lineman belt when initially climbing the tree and installing my steps or ladder sections, then used a treestand rope with a sliding prussic hitch for getting into and out of my stand each time when hunting. I'd have that rope at a point above my stand in the tree and let it dangle to the ground. When I'd get there in the morning I'd clip the tether from this harness to that prussic hitch, then slide it up the rope as I climbed. When I left for the day I'd wrap the loose end of the rope around the bottom of my tree steps.

Directions



1) Wrap the webbing around the tree and thread through the unit through the end loop in the webbing until the Wingman unit is about 1 foot from the tree.



2) At ground level hook your TMA approved body harness lanyard to the TreeStand Wingman metal loop with a locking carabiner



3) As you move up the tree, move the webbing up with you keeping the slack to a minimum.



4) Upon reaching your hunting height adjust the webbing leaving just enough slack to allow you to sit. (excess slack in the event of a fall will increase the impact force felt on the human body increasing the chance of serious injury or death!!)



5) If you experience a fall during your hunt you can either allow the system to lower you to the ground or slow the descent or stop it by putting pressure on the webbing with your hand.

Answer:	I purchased this harness specifically for bowhunting. It is a lot better than the original Summit harness that came with my Viper climber stand. I really like the quick release straps. I just place the harness over top my camo. I have not ran into any issues with drawing or shoot with this harness. You may need to adjust the leg strap so that the quick release buckles do not rub on each other when walking. I did this and this made them comfortable to put on a the truck and walk back into the woods without any noise.
Question:	Do i need something to secure me to the tree other than this harness? I have never bought a safety harness
Answer:	This is a complete package however, you will not have to buy anything else if you plan on using a climbing treestand. If you plan on using a hang on or ladder type stand it is advisable to purchase a safety rope(static line with a sliding prussic knot) This is fastened above the stand and at the base of the tree. You hook up before climbing and slide the prussic knot up as you climb. You should always be attached to the tree when above ground regardless of what type of stand you use.

Answer:	Hello, Thanks for the question. This rope has a braided nylon core giving it some stretch to cushion a fall. We would consider this to be between Static and dynamic but closer to dynamic. We went with Nylon core because it added strength and a little stretch. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is this rope compatible with a Ropeman Ascender
Answer:	Our rope is firmly braided at 7/16" diameter climbing line. It is very high quality and strength. If the Ropeman Ascender is designed for that diameter then it should work. However we recommend verifying the specs on the Ropeman Ascender before use. Thanks for the question.

Answer:	Jim, In my opinion it will work. I also found some specs for the stand which says minimum tree diameter is 8” and max is 20”.
Question:	Does it have a bar for steadying a rifle
Answer:	If you are of average build, you can lower the seat height and use the top bar/side bars to build a arm/stand triangle for good accuracy. Obviously, you’re not going to win the 1000 yd trophy out of it, but for the average 100 yard whitetail hunting shot you should be good to go if you are a moderately competent shooter. Of course all bets are off when the fever kicks in!
Question:	Would you recommend this for bow hunting
Answer:	The summit viper is perfect for bow hunting. That's what I use mine for. Very comfortable and safe. Always wear a harness and you are good to go.
Question:	Is this stand good for standing up to shoot a bow
Answer:	Yes, that all i use mine for is bow hunting. Its a really good climbing stand.

Question:	I am 5'10" 240lbs what size should I order
Answer:	I'm 5'7", 170lbs and wear the L/XL adjusted down to the smallest settings. Not sure if it's sold in XXL. It is very adjustable, but I'd buy an XXL if it available. Great light weight unrestrictive harness.
Question:	Does this product have the clips for field glasses
Answer:	No clips, but fantastic harness. Light weight and easy on off.
Question:	I way 248 and im 6'3 what size do i need
Answer:	Just a rough guess I would say 2XL. I went to Hunter Safety System website and looked at the size chart. I wear Large / XL and I am 5'10 at 210. Each size has a suggest max weight mine the max is 250 which would only leave a 2 lb safety factor. As a Professional Safety Manager I would recommend the 2XL WHICH GOES UP TO 300 lbs.
