Answer:	The mat is great. It’ has a thick rubber base and nice turf top. However, as good as it is, I wouldn’t leave it outside for the sole reason of prolonging it’s life.

Answer:	Not that I have seen. With any mat, you could see some mat reside on the bottom of the club just from the heat of the club, but not scratches

Answer:	When i ordered this last week, i was sent the Green one. I did not have a choice when i ordered it, however. YMMV.
Question:	How much will the green speed be effected if the mat is put on carpet
Answer:	I do see a difference when I putt on my carpet vs hardwood. My carpet slows down the puts a bit. I'd say on carpet, it plays like a 7-8 stimp, where hardwood is closer to a 9.
Question:	What is the best way to brush and care for the matt? Just wondering best way to remove putting "groove" from using the same line every time
Answer:	The Dyson vacuum cleaner works great, maybe weekly. I play 4 times a week, my putting never strays too far unless it rains a lot. I'm just trying to keep some feel going when I use this mat, I prob. hit 10 or 12 balls, watch tv, hit couple more through out the evening. I have not noticed a putting groove, rarely do I putt same putt over and over, I move on every putt. Love the alignment lines on mat when I am putting poorly, easily see your mistakes.
Question:	Is the mat machine washable
Answer:	No. It is almost 8 feet long to begin with, but would be ruined if it was put into anything like a washing machine. You could possibly spray it off but I’d advise against even doing that. But it is a great practice putting mat. I’ve gotten dramatically better and now play most rounds in about 32 putts (down from 40+).

Answer:	Haven’t tried it on grass but it is certainly thick enough to work nicely on pavement. Most of these rubber mats aren’t designed for use on medium or tall grass.

Answer:	You will need to purchase rubber tees similar to the ones you see at almost any range. Or you can purchase a tee holder, which looks similar to a rubber range tee expect it will hold a standard type golf tee. BTW... the mat is great, still using mine;)

Answer:	I only use it for chipping and pitching and it doesn't move for those types of swings. Don't know what would happen with full swing from a long iron.

Answer:	Thick is resonable. But whenever I hit the mat, it moves forward. It needs to be heavier to keep it moving.That is a fatal disadvantage.
