Answer:	yes it's non stick. I use it all the time and there is no stick for me.
Question:	Will my steak taste like a steak on a grill or like a steak on a George Foreman grill which no offense is pretty gross and steam instead of grilling
Answer:	Definitely a good question. I had the same question and issue with the GF grill. I bought this HB Grill and it is great. Great searing and cooks like an outdoor regular grill. Marinate or season your steak however you like it and it will come out perfect. Of course, you won’t have the charcoal flavor if that is what you use for your outdoor grill, but the other flavor, texture and searing will be there. (I personally think it comes out juicier on this grill than the regular outdoor grills). I also found that this HB grill made it easier to get the cooking level you want; for steak; I.e. Medium, Medium Well, Well Done etc.
Question:	the removable grill plate has plug in attached. Is it ok to get that wet when cleaning
Answer:	Yes the booklet says it can be washed, the only thing you can't wash is the base it plugs into. However I don't put mine in the dishwasher and when I wash it I don't let it sit in water. Like my old George Foreman I find its easier to clean if I put wet paper towels on the grills surface while its still hot and shut the lid, this steams off a lot of the baked on marinade I use...

Answer:	The cooking area is about 15x10 in which is more than adequate for me and my wife/ friendsI can grill almost anything without having to deal with weather conditions.Its great with miminalpreperation and cook time. Answer:	I haven't tried steaming vegetables in here but probably not, you can cook boneless chicken thighs though!
Question:	How is it dishwasher safe with the plugs coming out of the pan
Answer:	The dishwasher safe description is misleading. The only dishwasher safe piece is the plastic drip tray. Under "Cleaning and Maintenance", the manual has in all caps: "DO NOT CLEAN PARTS USING A DISHWASHER". The grill plate should not be immersed in water at all, but it cleans very, very easily.
Question:	Does this have a prop 65 warning
Answer:	🤣 prop 65 is a warning to exposures of chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Question:	When cleaning i kno you can not imerse in water but can the underneath of cook top get wet?? Silver part under..if wet is it ok
Answer:	Yes, but do not submerge. The easiest way to clean this appliance is to set on low heat after use. Put folded wetted paper towels on grill surface. Leave only a short time until a bit steamy. Take a dry paper towel and remove the wet ones and wipe the surface. Remove remaining residue with a mixture of baking soda, lemon juice and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Then rinse, but be carful not to get water on the plug.

Answer:	Nothing...hope thats clear...it has these nipples on top and buttom but thats just to keep any slippery suspects. From getting away...good luck

Answer:	This is a great grill to own. My family loves it and so do I. It is very versatile and you can even use use it on meats with bone, though they take a little longer to cook. It is nice if you are trying to remove fat from your diet because it drains the grease from the meat as it cooks. It is easy to clean both by hand or in the dishwasher because the cooking plates are removable as well as the grease catcher.
Question:	can it make paninis or sandwiches
Answer:	Check the coverage for the warranty. I believe it's "limited". Seems like someone else in the reviews had the warranty but had to pay for shipping & it wasn't worth it. Really is a shame. Love the grill but it only worked for a little over a year. Tried to recalibrate but that didn't work. Ended up sending it to recycle.
Question:	I live in a small apartment with very sensative smoke detectors. Will this grill be fine or is there still a chance it will set off my smoke detector
Answer:	Aluminum plates with nonstick coating are non toxic. For your information, Teflon is no longer made. I wash them in the dish washer and they are easy to clean in the sink with Dawn. I have had my grill for almost a year I have had zero problems with the grills performance. Non stick coating is in great condition use non meatal utensils to remove food from grill, never use meatal utensils to clean the plates, just soak them in hot water with Dawn and use a sponge or dish cloth the clean them. It cooks to perfection. Cooks steaks and pork loin chops up to one inch thick, small lobster tail to perfection. Just remember to listen for the sound it makes when it has reached the end of cooking cycle you selected. I do not recommend cooking chicken Thys or legs with bone it will not cook the chicken it will cook pork chops with bone to perfection. I recommend using a meat thermometer to check for for the right temperature for steaks when the light reaches the medium rare stage. The temperature should be 135* to 140* in the center for medium rare steaks. Love this grill great gift for someone who lives in a apartment and can not have a propane grill.

Question:	Whats the difference between the black one and the silver color
Answer:	I have this stainless steel (silver) one but from my previous research the previous model (without the stainless steel accent) didn't have a hinged glass lid like this one and they re-designed the slide tray where the water is put to prevent smoking. The previous model also, didn't have ceramic non-stick coating I think. Otherwise, no difference that I can tell - same controls and cooking temp. This model also doesn't have the free griddle plate (it's free but you have to pay approx. $16 ship/handling to get it).
Question:	What makes the surface nonstick? Is it coated with something
Answer:	It appears to be a "Ceramic" coating which is the best non-stick from an environmentally safe perspective. The coating is very effective at preventing sticking and it's very easy to rinse off. I don't use any soaps/chemicals to clean it because they degrade the surface and the non-stick will break down - rinsing with hot tap water and wiping with a wet rag cleans it well enough.

Answer:	I am 5-9 and this grill was great height for me to cook on, and I imagine a taller person than me could also use it easily. I do not know where you ever came up with 2 and half foot tall? but, it is far taller than that, perhaps the one pole is 2 and half foot long, i don't know, but, it is normal grill height like every other grill i have had.
