Answer:	No. What you do is, as you close the umbrella, it goes up and the water is collected inside the "bowl" then you just dump out the water. Just shake out the umbrella and it stands with the open end downward. That way water droplets that are left on the umbrella will drip down onto the ground or floor. It's very cool. I have two. Highly recommend. There are videos online that makes it easier to understand.

Answer:	From memory, we estimate the 68” umbrella came in a box 6” x 6” x 45”. The pole alone measures 40” and does not fold smaller. The 62” umbrella pole measures 13 1/2” in length when folded. When folded, the diameter is 2 1/2 “. The box for that one fit into my mailbox without any difficulty.

If you aren’t paying attention and choose the cheaper priced option thinking you’re getting a deal (like me), you may miss the fact that the color says “single canopy” even though the description says it is vented... Those umbrellas are NOT vented. Very frustrating.

Answer:	I’ve often thought of this with this umbrella in hand. If you’re a skilled fencer and thrust it at someone, you’ll probably get a few polks in. If you just straight up smash someone with the handle end, you’ll probably get 1 or 2 hits before it breaks. It unfortunately does not have a Penguin style machine gun built in or a bulletproof canopy - I believe that only comes on the 68 inch option. Enjoy!

Answer:	I bought this 3/7/17 and the button no longer works to open the umbrella. Is this still under warranty?

Answer:	The umbrella is too heavy for a child. The automatic button allows to close the umbrella but the stalk of the umbrella remaining to pull down(to reduce) requires a lot of strength in arms even for me adult.
