Answer:	I have four of these cameras. There is a setting that shows a video camera recorder. Always make sure you are on record and not images. My cameras weren't recording after one week. I replaced the cheap AA batteries with Duracel and have been recording ever since.

Question:	How large is the actual imager? it say 16mp images, sure, but that doesn’t actually mean a 16mp imager
Answer:	You'll need 8 AA batteries and a standard physical size sd card not a micro size that's used in cell phones. They say not to use over 32GB. I don't go higher than 16GB. I also use 4GB and 8GB. The sd cards also have a rating in quality. Look for it inside a small circle. 10 is higher than a 4 or 6. Don't worry too much about the rating number. The picture quality is more closely related to your equipment.
Question:	how well does it perform in below freezing temperatures
Answer:	PIR motion detection range is 70 degrees to 70 feet, IR detection distance is 70 feet.
Question:	How good is the night vision on this camera
Answer:	Yes the set I got has four medium spiral core strings.
Question:	Am I seeing this correctly, it can be mounted with a strap or screwed to the tree
Answer:	One can buy a set of 4, or each string individually. I bought the set and found the G and C strings a bit bright, so I replaced them with my old Pirastro Golds.

Answer:	We've captured animals at night. Haven't tried video with audio yet. Black & white nite pics set at 8mp are good. Answer:	It does come with a strap....If you are placing this on private property it will be the onl thing you need. If you are placing it on public property I would recommend you get the locking cable.

Answer:	I haven't verified, but I was told that it does not by a rep at GSM. "Once the memory card is full, it will no longer take any more images."

Answer:	Definitely YES for a security camera! This camera has no noise and no red light when taking the picture, i.e. Stealthy. This camera is a lot easier to set-up then those security cameras. In fact we purchased a $400.00 Security camera set from Sam's Club and it was so complicated to set-up, we took it back. That is when I realized I could get just as good pictures with a game camera for a lot less money. This camera is all that it says it is! I purchased my second Stealth Cam No-Glo Trail Camera last week. That's how much I recommend this camera. The pictures are clear and in color in the daylight. At night, pictures are very clear. I highly recommend this camera, you will not be unhappy with your purchase. We use it as a security camera in the tree in front of our house. I also purchased the metal G-Series bear box that goes with this camera. It fits nicely in the metal bear box. You will also need to purchase a memory card with this camera. Answer:	Most game cams have small sensors with 2 - 5 Million actual pixels despite what it says on the box. They use software to interpolate or enlarge the photo 2 - 4x to make it appear larger without adding any clarity. That's why 16 to 20Meg game cameras tend to have far less detail and clarity than a 20 year old digital camera with 4MPixels. The 12, 16 and 20 Meg trial cam numbers are for marketing; not the real sensor size. The physical diameter of the sensor is actually more important than the number of pixels anyway. That's what they should publish instead of how far they blow up the image from a small sensor. Fitting additional small pixels fit into the same sensor space results in lower resolution. That's why a real camera or SLR tends to have a large sensor that allows enough room for the individual pixel elements to be adequately sized. Smaller pixels gather less light and need more gain which tends to add noise, so mostly they need to use a larger, and better sensor. Game cam manufacturs rely on the consumer not knowing how many pixels the product really is. Try to find the REAL number of pixels or the physical size of the sensor for any brand. They won't publish the real specs since it would not look good. If any company made a good quality game cam with decent glass optics and a good sized sensor with honest specs that would be impressive. I'd buy it. They should also publish the standby current draw in milli-Amps so we can estimate the real battery life.
