Answer:	You pour out the tea into a cup (this pot is about the size of a large mug). Then you re-steep if you wish. It's the best teapot I've owned. It allows the tea to float freely to diffuse more. Answer:	Replacing the battery will not solve the issue. Leaving the battery in the range finder all the time is what is causing the problem. Mine did that after about 2 years. I contacted the company and they told me the fading LCD screen was caused by fumes emitted from the battery. He told me to pull the battery and leave the range finder in the sun for a few days. I didn't think that would do anything but after I left it in the window of my car for 3 days I put the battery back in and the display looked like new again. My son has one and had the same issue and it was resolved the same way. The only problem is that it does this all the time now. I have gotten used to pulling the battery after I am done with it. It usually lasts 3 to 4 rounds before I have to leave it in the window of my car again, but each time I have done it the display is like new again. I have had mine for 4 years now and it still works well, other than that work around.
