Question:	Can u use soapy water or does it have to be solvent
Answer:	Yes, in either of 2 ways:1) If you programmed a recording, you can begin watching before it ends2) While watching live TV, it remembers prior 30 minutes automatically. You can pause for up to 30 minutes and resume. You can also rewind if you missed something. Just don't get more than 30 minutes behind in "Live" mode.
Question:	First time re-gripper...I usually have them do three wraps. Are these strips the same thickness
Answer:	Keep in mind that the Cable Cos and Satellite make money on your subscription to their services or channel packages, that is how they get their money back. Also, Cable and SAT charge anywhere from $7 to $18 per month per DVR/BOX on your account, along with a "DVR FEE" on top of that, so they too are charging a boatload per month just for the DVR in "service" fees. TiVo has no other significant stream of revenue other than the sale of the hardware and the monthly subscription (or a big chunk of $$ at one time called Lifetime Service). The revenue from ads and other data collected isn't as much. Also, the Cable and Sat Cos collect data on your usage and sell it, too. does, as well, but that aint the big bucks. Question:	I didn't get the solvent because I have some from another brand of tape. Does it matter
Answer:	Yes, sort of. The app is very glitchy. We watch netflix on our TiVo without a problem off of our high speed wifi, but with Amazon prime video we often have to restart the TiVo three times to get through a 50 minute show. It gives us error code 1060. the amazon.com/videohelp link is useless. Amazon needs to fix their TiVo streaming app. It is really bad.

Answer:	While both answers are technically correct, the Roamio line is simple to swap a larger hard drive into. The external drives max out at 1TB, whereas a Roamio will take up to a 3TB drive internally. The software is loaded on the board itself, so all you have to do is take the old drive out, and swap a new drive in, close it up, and power up the unit. The software will automatically install and give you about 477 hours of HD recording with a 3TB drive. It seems that the best drives for this are the Western Digital AV-GP drives, which is what they seem to ship with, and the WD Red drives, which are designed for NAS arrays. Either way, you should be able to get a 3TB drive for about $120, while the 1TB expander is about $100.

Installing your Grip Strips in 6 Easy Steps

Step 1: Secure club in a vise using a rubber vise clamp.

Step 2: Remove old grip and any remaining tape.

Step 3: Apply 10 inches of double sided grip tape extending 1/4” over butt end and twist/fold the 1/4” of tape into the butt end.

Step 4: Apply a generous amount of solvent inside the grip and over the length of the tape. Shake the solvent inside the grip and pour over the tape.

Step 5: Quickly Install the grip by pushing it over the butt end of the shaft while the tape is still wet.

Step 6: Allow grips to dry a couple hours before using.

Answer:	It’s not super thick, but it’s still thick enough to hold. If you’ve ever gotten any clubs built before, this tape feels exactly like that. Really good product.

Answer:	I use Golfworks solvent, but I have used turpentine and mineral spirits in the past. I even used gasoline before.
Question:	Is this a paper tape or the skinny clear tape
Answer:	I'd use solvent - doesn't have to be specifically for golf grips. Dries quickly - soapy water would be OK to slide grip on - but - and this is only my opinion - I have not used soapy water - it would take a lot longer to dry and the grip would be sort of lubed up and wouldn't set in place on tape & shaft - I wouldn't use soapy water.
Question:	What is the thickness of the tape
Answer:	Yes, all same thickness but I use only one wrap (see directions on pkg) and use a mid-size grip for thickness.
Question:	How thick is the tape
Answer:	No, solvent is the same. I use whatever solvent I happen to have and it's worked fine.
Question:	What type of solvent is required? Mineral spirits
Answer:	9 and 3/4 inches of tape is plenty enough to hold the grips. In my experience, that 3/4" of grip at the bottom without tape doesn't make any difference in performance or cause any shift in the grip once solvent is dried/cured.

Answer:	Yes. I tried the water activated tape and I did not like how it "acted" in humid conditions. I use the HF-100 with regular double-sided grip tape and it works well.

Answer:	Tacki-Mac grips say to use water. Mineral spirits is the usual agent for most others. I added dishwashing soap to the tape for better slide when using water. If the grips are too tight try heating them briefly in a microwave oven to enlarge the grip , then slide on.
