Answer:	Depending on how much grease there is, it will stay on the mat. I have the two that came with the order and a third. I overlap them them to trap any grease. There can be minimal run-off to pan below. I suggest sopping the grease up when possible and carefully removing the grill mats when done and cool to avoid spillage.

Answer:	I don’t know. However, I use on a gas grill with no problem. I love the easy cleanup. You still get grill marks on your food.

Answer:	Yes it works for up and down slopes and yes I would buy it again. It may take a few times to lock onto flag and distinguish that from the back ground. The more steady the hand the quicker it works.
