Answer:	Good question... It doesn't say on the product. The materials are probably foreign anyway. I don't think there are any cork farms here in America. Not that I know of anyway. but it is better than foam. By the way, I recommend buying the 4" thick block... This one is a little unstable on the 3" side.

I've dealt with chronic back pain after a fall in the Army 20+ years ago, so I opted for the 6 inch small wheel and the 12 inch wheel.
