Answer:	I used the paper guide that came in the box for hole placement. I taped it to the wall got a drill bit thesize of the wall screws drilled 4 hole where the paper had them, removed the paper tapped the wall anchors into the wall lightly with a hammer them screwed the wall brakes into the actors the scared the shelf with the nails into the brackets.

Answer:	Yes, you need screwdrivers with both flat head and Phllips heads. You will also need a drill to mount onto wooden wall studs

Answer:	It came with 4 small dowels that you push into the pre drilled holes. And the shelf just sets on top of them.
Question:	How does it stick on carpet? Does the mat slide around or stick pretty well
