Answer:	No padding, cloth on one side and rubber like on the other side. It is very large, which is great. It also says not to wash it, but I wash it in cold and also dry it in the dryer, it comes out great.

Question:	Is it as light as it say (3.5 lbs
Answer:	I haven't weighed it but it is very light. Since they say 3.4 lbs is its shipping weight, it can actually be even lighter. As for the previous answer about how hard it is to fold it, you need to practice 1-2 times before taking it out. I hadn't, so first time on the beach I had to look up a video on youtube to fold it. :-) But it was just fine afterwards. And after a couple months of using it 1-2-3 times a week it's still as strong as new.
