Answer: | I started to get mold also...then had an epiphany! I had been using my good, filtered water, it's better for everything, right? NO! I switched to the (chlorinated) tap water and haven't had a problem since. I make my own kombucha. I was careful to heed all of the warnings that using unfiltered/chlorinated water will kill the necessary bacteria. I realized that was a GOOD thing with my butter bell. Voila! No more mold! Of course, this was in addition to adding salt to the water (unsalted butter), changing the water at least once a week and other suggestions listed here. |

Answer: | No you don't but you should change the water every 2 to 3 days. I use the butter and then wash the whole keeper and refill with butter and water in the bottom section about 1 inch deep. |

Answer: | Yes, the butter is upside down when closed. When you pack a cube of softened butter into it, it adheres to the sides and bottom of the container. I use a soup spoon to pack it in and eliminate any air pockets. when you place the butter container into the bottom, with @ ¼" of water in it, it creates a vacuum and the butter stays fresh and in place. Kid use, depending upon age, should be no problem as all you do is pull it up out of the container and turn it over. They can easily master gently returning it to the container. |

Answer: | Yes, it will work. The door can be no more than 40 inches wide. In your case, the "grippers" or "bumpers" should overhand the door facing by about 2 inches on each side. That should be enough to hold you up. In my opinion, as long as you perform the pull-ups correctly, you shouldn't have to worry about the device slipping or shifting.From my review: One thing to make sure of: Wall thickness! I have walls in an older home that are about 8 inches thick. This pull-up bar only fits walls that are 7 inches at most. I had to look all over the house for someplace where the wall was thin enough to fit this. I eventually found out my walk-in closet (a recent renovation) was thin enough. Now, I have to wallk back to my bedroom closet to exercise. It's not ideal, but it works. Six to seven inches is the ideal range for wall-thickness here. Also, the doorway needs to be between 24 and 40 inches wide and at least a foot away from any wall or corner, otherwise, your pull-up bar will not fit. |

Secondly, the bolts on the bar that sits above the door frame are thicker than the padding on that bar, so the bolts will dig into the drywall above your door. You can work around or fix these things (some people are talking about wrapping it in socks where it meets the doorframe), but there's no reason you should have to rig up a fix for this kind of thing. Answer: | The bar will open to 39 inches. Depending on your weight ( I weigh 165 lbs) I did not use the door frame brackets. As a rule apartment buildings have metal door frames and they are more than than strong enough to hold my weight. If your door frames are wood you must use the mounting brackets. Door molding is placed against the wooden 2 x 4 in framing. Use screws long enough to go through the molding and into the 2" x 4" frame Mount your bracket as high on the door frame as you can allowing room for hands to encircle the bar. If your door frame configuration is unusual you may need to use wood shims to make the mounting area flat. You can run the screws through the shims into the door frame when mountng the brackets. Be sure that you place the bar so that your hand grip rotation works to tighten the bar, not loosen. Try knee ups for abs, works great. |

Answer: | You're actually better off using a bar that screws into the door frame, as opposed to a purely pressure mounted bar. The bars that use gravity and rest on the outside of the door frame will leave indentations, as will pressure mounted bars that expand within the door way. Screw holes, however, are easily filled and painted over, making it a pretty non-damaging mounting technique. |

Answer: | If you're refering to the looped style bands, then yes. Your simply have to loop the band around and then in through intself to secure it. However you'll need to make sure that you only set it up from the top bar which is the actual pull-up bar and not the bottom support bar that rests on the frame. I use gymnastic rings on it and its fine. Just note that these activities are not recommened/covered by the products intended use/manufacturer. |

Answer: | NO. Do NOT use on drywall. It will break through eventually, possibly with the first use. Concrete would be the best bet. Wood board walls might work, but I suspect they would be marred. I regret buying this product. |

Answer: | You don't, really. See how the one bar is super long? So on the inside of your doorway, look up at the trim. You hammer a metal bracket that has a spiked section into the tiny space between the wall and the door trim - you wedge it in. Now, see how the other horizontal bar is much shorter? That section sits into the bracket, and the long bar is positioned on the opposite side of the doorway with the foam covered handles resting on the door trim. When you hang from it, those handles are pressing against the door frame. I'm not the best at describing this but trust me it works and was SUPER easy to "install". |

Answer: | I received mine and unfortunately it a little too wide. The width of the fully assembled bar is 50 and 3/4”. Which places my mounting holes right at 49” apart. Which is very frustrating now that there is a tighter window to hit the outer edges of the mounting studs. The Quality control supervisor must have been on a smoke break for the fabrication of mine. |
