Answer:	The case is made of plastic and metal. Mine leaked the first time I used it. I was not permitted to return the defective watch because I was past the date for returns. It sits on my desk where I can watch the insides of the watch rust. I would not buy this watch if I were you.

Answer:	Choose Nato Barton watch band, 22mm wide, you can trim to size
Question:	How do you get the pins out to change bands
Answer:	The pins are solid (no miniature springs inside) and pass right through both lugs. The best bet is a watch repair/jeweller shop. They have to use a punch matching the diameter of the pin to push/knock it through from one side. Once the pin is slightly out of the other lug, you can use pliers to pull it out completely. I have changed my wrist band already, and it is done very easily.

About Suunto

Suunto was founded in 1936 by outdoors man and a keen orienteering enthusiast, Tuomas Vohlonen, who had long been bothered by a problem: the inaccuracy of traditional dry compasses and their lack of steady needle operation. Question:	what size wrist does the standard black rubber strap fit
Answer:	My wrist is ~8.5", maybe a little more. The Vector band fits my wrist on the last hole. There is not enough band left to fit into the sleeve intended to secure the end of the band. The Core band is about 3/4" longer.

Answer:	I have been researching the Suunto Core All Black to find the best price for purchase. One of the key features needed is an alarm clock, but I could not find any definitive information as to whether it had one or not. Even the Suunto website and manual was not very cut and dry with an answer. I contacted Suunto customer service and asked about this function (pf which they responded in the affirmative), but I also asked the comment made here stating Amazon purchases are not honored via warranty. Suunto stated this is COMPLETELY FALSE! Amazon IS an authorized reseller. You need only keep your receipt. Finally have this issue/question clearly and easily resolved after so many guesses since 2013!

Answer:	It has the standard band pin, so I think any watch band would fit, Obviously, if your taking it underwater plastic is probably referred. I think any watch shop could fix you up

Answer:	No, it only has alerts in case you ascend too fast (for scuba divers), but I have this alert switched off because it has no sense as I do spearfishing.
Question:	What is the round time indicater on the outside of the watch for. It it connected to the timer
Answer:	That is actually a tool to help you keep track of time before digital watches came about. You turn the dial to where the second of the minute is as your 0 second reference point instead of 12. And then you can see how long you've been down since then. This helps you keep track of bottom time and when you should surface. Look up a video online and it will make more sense. Obviously the other people that answered have no idea what they are talking about and no watch company puts that on a diving watch to "play with" or look like a classic dive watch.. it's a crucial tool

Answer:	We have found that when on the wrist you need to subtract -2 or -3.5 degrees (if Centigrade units used), then it is very close to the actual temp. Gives a very good idea. Otherwise if on top of the dress then it becomes more accurate, and needs to be removed and left alone for about 10-15 min to show accurate data.

Answer:	Yes. 1 year + old watch, not a problem.
Question:	How long does the battery last till it dead
Answer:	More than a year if you use screen off function even more.1.5 years when decided to replace the battery just to be sure. The watch was still working, but on one occasion the light was seems a bit too dim albeit acceptable and watch was functioning ok.Battery indicator was not showing also. When we pulled out the old battery (Maxell) the voltage on it terminals was showing 3.01V and with the briefly appliedresistor load of 4.7kOm would drop to 2.92V a clear indication that the battery is close to the end of its life.New battery shows 3.2 - 3.25V installed in a minute or two and here it is works as new again. So I would say 2 years tops you can get out of the battery yet I would probably replaced 1/year or 13-14 months.With the new battery accuracy and speed of calibration of the compass also seems increased.

Answer:	So I had the watch in my bag because I use it at the gym and decided to take a crack at your question.Now it is sort of hard to know which of the stopwatch modes I am in because it has a countdown, and an interval mode.In interval move the lowest a interval can be is 1 minutes. And each interval has rest that can be as low as 15 seconds. Hope this helps!

Answer:	This is a very popular unit and pyle sells millions of them, so they have a very large stock of them in their warehouse. Most likely you have a unit that set in the Pyle Warehouse for some time and the battery is depleted. The back of the unit has a really simple battery cover that un-screws with a coin. Please replace the battery with a new CR2032 and you will get years of enjoyment from your new PSHTM24.
