It might not matter in the end though -- this thing is pretty rickety at it's highest setting, and difficult to carry because gravity holds it together. You have to grab it by the leg and the seat or it comes crashing apart. I wouldn't buy it again, and you can have mine if you're in the vicinity of Maine.

Answer:	I also found the measuring tape useless. Unclear in its use and I couldn't inflate the ball large enough for what I THOUGHT I was to do with the tape.

Answer:	They have a chart that helps you decide, I would go with the XL. The difference between the exercise size and the birthing size is the angle your legs will create when you sit on it with both feet on the ground. The excersize size is smaller because you want to create a right angle or smaller (more acute) in order to get the best workout results and prevent injury. For birthing you want a right angle or higher (more obtuse) you do not want your knees to come below your butt, this will result in a super uncomfortable ordeal. For birthing having your butt either higher or level with your knees while sitting is the best position. I apologize for making such a long response, hope it helps, Go for XL!

Answer:	There are charts online that tell you what size to get based on your height. I am 5'7" and have a 25 inch ball, which seems right for exercises where I am siting on it. Answer:	Its kind of a felty mataerial. But very durable. It can be removed if u deflate the ball. There is a small zippered hole ro put rhe ball theough before you inflate. I bought this because my cats claws put small holes in my last ball that did not have a cover. So far so good with this cover no holes feom claws

You would think that things would fit us pretty equally, but she has a longer torso and shorter legs and I have longer legs and a shorter torso, so we’re always surprised how differently things work for us. So long story short, I think it depends on your proportions.

Answer:	It just has a hole in the bottom for the castors, so i suppose you could just not put them in, but it sits pretty short, so i ended up having to get some add-on casters.

Question:	I am 6'1 and I used to work a gym that had these chairs not as fancy.. would this fit some that doesn't look like a child chair
Answer:	I thought I had received the wrong size ball also and contacted Gaiam immediately and was not very nice. :( I did exactly what you should not do. I was excited to receive it, put it together and blew up the ball, set in on the base and grabbed the phone because it didn't fit. You have to put air into the ball and let it sit. I let mine rest overnight. Add more air the next day and repeat. The ball expanded and fits perfectly. The child-size chair balls only come in certain colors and are not shipped with the larger chair. If instructions are followed, there is no issue and the chair is great!!
Question:	It looks like most of the bad reviews for this chair came a year or more ago. I'm wondering if anyone who purchased it in 2020 have had it break
Answer:	My dental hygienist owns the adjustable back model and told me she never leans back in it. (comfort reasons) I own the backless chair and find myself always leaning a bit forward due to what I do for a living. So, the advantage here would be cost difference from backless to adjustable back.
