Answer:	I wash on either cold or warm water. Hang dry seems to work best to avoid shrinking or pilling. I use Active detergent which is designed for activewear clothing. The blue bag version is the one I like.

At the start of the hike when temp is in low 20's use this top and a thin polyester fitting sweater, after an hour of hike and as temp approaches 30, I remove the sweater, and hike in just this base layer for the next 3 hours. Still have to remove my backpack cause my back is too hot/sweating. I have also used to $50 meriwool mid weight base layer and did not find any difference in warmth, but Tesla is softer to the skin

Answer:	These compression shirts do run a little small. If you prefer a more snug fit then large will work fine. If you don't like the shirt quite as snug then go one size larger. I wear xl regular and purchased xl tesla shirt. I like the more snug feel. It's in no way restricting. It really is a matter of preference - keep in mind that compression shirts usually are somewhat snug to begin with.

Answer:	I don't know the percentage of the polyester and spandex, but it will shrink very little, because of the spandex fabric. Polyester won't shrink. I normally wear an X-large. I still bought X-large. Wash it a few times already and it still fit good. Although it shrink a little, but it still fit me. I'm a 6'2 with 200 Lbs. My shoulder is 44 in with a chest 42' in.

You gotta stretch it until it sounds like the shirt is gonna rip. It won't though. But yeah it's supposed to be tight around the torso area. Hence the name "compression" shirt.
