Answer:	My first thought was "yes, if he has really fat ankles." However, I took mine and "doubled it" and it fit snuggly. if it's too tight, you can just fold it over to make it any size and secure the fold with a strip of tape. My only concern would be if will be wide enough to really protect the ankle --it's only about an inch and a half wide. I'm thinking he'd be better off with a couple thicknesses of bubble wrap; it might look funny, but I'll bet his friends will be copying it.

Answer:	The wrist bands are WHITE. As the other reviews say, they aren't wide (I have small wrists), but they are quite absorbent, which is why I need them. I wear two on each forearm. They wash & wear just fine.

Answer:	As it is pure cotton you may do it. If I were you I wouldn't because most of the colors do not dye well, unless you put hot water on your washing machine and keep them at least 15 minutes moving SOFTLY.
