Answer:	I think it depends on the car. If it’s a very small car maybe a problem but larger car with a rack for sure. It weighs about 100 pounds and is about 4 1/2 feet across by 6 feet long.

Answer:	I think it would fit in a truck bed if you don’t have a cover on the truck bed. You would need to have part of it down in the bed and the other part up on the side as it is too big for a truck bed laying flat in it. We live on the water and so we just carried it down to the water once delivered. It isn’t that heavy for two people.

Question:	Do you carry the support pole to help shed water
Answer:	Hi, I haven't tried using a support pole or poles. Compared to the cost of the cover they are rather costly. I just put old plastic buckets upside down on the front seats and stuffed garbage bags in the front floors. This prevents the cover from sinking in a heavy rain and eventually collapsing. This is the first year I've had the cover and it hasn't leaked! I do secure the cover at the front and back through the elastic openings to keep the cover from flying away in heavy winds. Answer:	Pretty sure it will, but to be sure, call the Minn Kota factory outlet 1800 7207304 with your model # ( under the control head). The foot control is very helpful as you don't have to stop fishing to make changes, and if your battery goes out in your remote, you can keep on fishing

Answer:	I don't own a Riptide (saltwater edition) but assume mine is the same except for freshwater fishing. The digital pedal comes attached with a 17' cord that no other brand offers. It makes it nice to operate the bow mount trolling motor from the back or mid range in a boat. The 17' cord is wired into the pedal and the other end has a plug that mates with the plug on the trolling motor itself. When disconnected, both plugs have screw on caps attached to the cord to protect them from debris or corrosion getting in the plugs.

Answer:	Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. Answer:	I own both kayaks and I would rather go with the explore to kayak, the reason is the Explorer - is self bailing has better seats that raise you out of the water in the bottom of the boat has an upturned nose to keep water from splashing you paddles are better quality. I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.
