Answer:	You can get extra hardware directly from Xpand folks. But you could also consider converting to the concealed look, in which case you just need the anchor (but not the end clip). good luck.

Question:	Are the end caps single use only? I laced the shoe up too high and now I can't get them off, to redo them
Answer:	I think they are probably intended to be single-use. I ran into a similar problem to yours though and found that you can CAREFULLY pry the end back open by inserting a flat screwdriver into the indentation at the end where the halves meet and twisting. Use a screwdriver that is wide enough so as not to turn inside the indentation and deform the plastic. After you cut the laces melt the ends of the laces slightly, again carefully, so that they do not fray, before reinstalling them into the end caps. A butane lighter or even a match can be used for this, I use a small butane torch that I use for other projects.

Answer:	I have these on both pairs of my running shoes and my cleats, and I’ve found that I get a better fit because they are thinner than regular laces. If you cinch up each level of regular laces when you tie your shoes, then you will get a tighter fit from regular laces vs. elastic no-ties. That said, these aren’t as stretchy as some, and the adjustable clasp makes it very easy to cinch down tight, ideal for sports or everyday use. Other brands are more stretchy, which may be nice for slip-on shoe comfort. I just open the cinch, slip on, snug and slide the cinch, and I get plenty of snugness. I haven’t tried the hiking boot laces so I can’t speak for those.

Question:	What size do I need in a men's size 9 with 6 outlets
Answer:	It's better to get a long set of shoelaces than a short set. You can always tie up any excess when you ties the laces at the top of the shoes. I bought 27 inch laces.
Question:	What size do I need for women’s
Answer:	Hello! Thanks for asking this question. We performed and unofficial test whereby we took a 2 inch section of Stretchlace and stretched it out to about 3.75 inches, 4 inches when pulling at MAX strength. We don't suggest stretching them out this far though as it would probably be too tight. Our customer Mark Sanborn below is probably about right, for best comfort account for them stretching about 25-35%. Hope that helps! ✌🏼❤️👟

Question:	Are these reusable? Or do you need to buy a new pair when you change your trainers
Answer:	technically reusable but I found that I pull really hard on mine and I put a drop of super glue in the end and that would technically make them not reusable. technically reusable but since you will cut the ends off when you put the end cap on, you would need to burn the end of the lace to make them easy to re-lace through. so ... with all that said...technically yes but you will really get a new pair that will color match :)
Question:	How can I reopen the end clip? I took delivery yesterday ,fit them but when I put them on one side of the lace popped out of the clasp
Answer:	Yes. I have had to reopen then a couple times for my son. I just used some thing small and hard. I can't remember if it was my key or what. I did have to clip a very small spot off the lace that started to frey from him monkeying with it (after it came undone). But they still work perfectly when I reclip them. Just make sure you press hard enough to keep them attached. I still love and recommend them.
Question:	How do i get the lock to work? Cannot get mine to lock. I push down on the button but it doent lock
Answer:	Push button down first then shove the laces through, it locks the laces when you release the button

Answer:	They would be fine for kids shoes, though you would have to trim quite a bit off the lace once fitted.

Answer:	Yes, 2 pairs of the same color!

Answer:	These laces are not the typical flat nor are they tubular so to speak. They lay flatish. They are more like the sport laces but have the elastic to them if that helps. As for the clasp it is round screws together and lays flat against the tongue of the shoe. I have no tie shoes from upper end companies and when these were done right they put my new shoes right into the same category.
Question:	Are these only supposed to come with one lock for two pairs of laces
Answer:	There are 5 elastic laces and 4 metal connection locks in the package.2 pair and an extra lace Incase of a mistake.2 pairs are suitable for lacing up 2 pairs of shoes.

Answer:	#1- You cut the tips of the laces off. #2- You put the little screw thing on over the lace. #3- Tie a knot slightly above the metal screw thing. #4- Cut slightly above the knot. #5- Use a lighter to slightly torch the frayed ends of the knot. #6- Screw it together. If your knot is positioned too far up or too far down your laces will be too loose. So try to not tie your knot SUPER tight unless you know that’s where you want it.

Question:	Are these any good for kids who cant do shoe laces yet
Answer:	My son (6) has used these for both kindergarten and first grade. His teachers love them, especially the gym teacher. They hold up to about a full school year of use. They have more laces than holes of his shoes so we simply replaced the few at the top that were stretched or broken by the end of the year. I really loved this solution.
