Answer:	very clear for the price but remember it is very small, needs an offset mount for any AR platform, I bought the package that comes with the offset mount, it works but the front of scope is even with, if not recess in the mount, have not use it yet but it bore sights ok

Answer:	I use this between my Hatsan Bullboss and my FX Wildcat Compact, probably overkill. But this scope is absolutely insane. The day viewing is extremely clear. I did have to turn down the brightness a bit. It also has 5 memory settings for different weapons “Zero”. I have my settings stored by yardage. So for target shooting and designated yards, I just select that particular weapon setting and I’m spot on. Night vision is good also. I would recommend rechargeable batteries for the IR light and a battery bank for the scope itself. It drains fully charged batteries pretty quickly. And the recording feature is crisp as well. Definitely no complaints about this scope.

Question:	what is the manufacturing date on the product ? does it come in its original plastic hard case with papers and all
Answer:	I bought my EXPS3 in 2015 (this model was fairly new then). It came in a very nice durable plastic box with the optic and batteries in fitted foam inside the box. On the outside (right side) of the box were a sticker with the model number, serial number and inspection date (the only date I saw). Model number and serial number were also represented in bar code. on the left side of the box had an Export Administration Regulation (EAR) warning from the US Dept of Commerce. Embossed on the top of the box with "EOTech HOLOgraphic Weapons Sights" logo and L3 trademark. Inside was the registration cards, warranty card , and quick reference card for installation, battery, and sighting-in instructions. At the L3 website they have a page (search on counterfeit) how to recognize the genuine article and how to recognize the counterfeits. I would go to the L3 EOTech website and read that article before buying and EOTech sight (just because there are so many counterfeits from overseas). After you receive your sight, register it at the EOTech website. That will tell you right away if you have a genuine EOTech sight or not.
Question:	Would this be an appropriate sight to put on a Buckmark .22 or is it a bit too bulky/heavy
Answer:	Eotech makes a sight for .22 weapons called the EXPS2-RF. Each of the eotech sights is technically designed for a certain caliber. If you go to their website you'll see that these models are for 556 mad 223. (For 300 blackout there is a specific eotech 300 bulk model). For your buckmark .22 go with the EXPS2-RF. .22 rounds are rimfire rounds and require a different approach to keeping proper zero. You will be happier, feel better (appropriate weapon sizing), and save money with the appropriate model. Best of luck!

However, attaching an optical sight either prevents the use of iron sights or results in a setup that produces a front sight "shadow" on the optical image, and/or results in problematic transitions from optical to backup iron sights. Rapid Transition Sights (RTS) provide shooters with the quickest possible transition between longer- and closer-range target acquisition, greatly increasing their efficiency and effectiveness in battle and competition. Answer:	Define slightly... Front sight pin adjusts for elevation, (in addition to the elevation adjustment on the rear sight assembly). But... only a quarter of an inch or less. You can purchase risers to even the sighting plain between the reciever and forearm, or gas block on an AR-15 type platform. (Picatinny/Weaver/M1913 rail).
Question:	Do these work good on ar-15 or do they vibrate off
Answer:	They come with hex screws. I prefer hex screws since I don't have to worry about a slotted screwdriver slipping and damaging the finish on my gun. You can always go to a hardware store and by slotted screws of the same thread pitch and length if you must have slotted screws.
Question:	Can the front sight post be resplaced with one from Blitzkrieg? The ones that are high contrast and/or tritium insert
Answer:	Yes, the front sight uses a standard A2 post.

Answer:	Keep mine in a snug soft sided case that gets tossed around and they hold up fine. Rifle gets laid on the sights at the range and they have been rock solid so far. Like them a lot.

Question:	I'm very nearsighted, must wear distance glasses 24/7. Is this easy to see through with your distance glasses on
Answer:	I would think so. I wear corrective for close up, and a 'little bit' for distance. They sights are 1x (1 power) and are very clear. I find them very easy to use. I have one on my 300 Blackout AR pistol and it hit a gong shot after shot at 100, 200 and 300 yards with it. I would recommend it. I'm 64 and it works well for me. Good luck!

Answer:	As long as your 308 rifle has a 'rail' on top that allows you to mount modern military-type red dot sighting devices, you should be fine with any of the current models of Eotech rifle sights.

Answer:	These are designed as back up flip sights. They are not your primary. Therefore they do not have elevation adjustments. Those must be done with your front sight post. Then you have to adjust your aim point depending on what distance zero you use.

Answer:	It's not a dumb question. I wasn't sure myself at first. But what looks like buttons are exactly what it is. Just push them in and they spring forward.
Question:	how do you adjust up/down
Answer:	Looking straight down onto your front pin, you'll see the base is round, with small cutouts. on the left side is a pin sticking up through one of the cutouts keeping it from turning. si Smply take something small enough such as a paper clip push down on it, which will allow the front sight to spin. Clockwise takes it down, counterclockwise brings it back up. When you get it where you want it let go of the pin. Its on a spring and allow it to pop back up between one of those cutouts and that's all there is to it
