Answer:	The 20, 30 and 40 yd retical are circles and get smaller the further back you go. The 50-100 yd marks are dots. All marks light up red/gree.

Answer:	Please try the following steps for troubleshooting the issues with your chronograph G1(corded) or G2(Bluetooth): Setting up the App 1. Go into your phones settings and find the Caldwell chronograph app and be sure that all permissions are granted, For the G1 this will include use of the microphone, once the cord is connected turn the volume up on your phone this will help mark sure a good connect is being made with the chronograph. When in the app hit settings and disable Bluetooth for the G1, enable Bluetooth for the G2. Testing 1. Take a flashlight and shine it on the front sensor, it should display Err3. Now try shining it on the rear sensor, it should display Err2. Finally if you swipe the light from in front of the front sensor across the front sensor and then the back sensor and off past it you should get a reading of a couple Ft/s. *This part can be a bit tricky and takes the perfect flick of the wrist. When Shooting 1. Always use your sun shades and if you have LEDs on yours use them as well. Both of these will help with creating consistent lighting. You should never shoot while around florescent lighting. 2. The chronographs work off of creating a shadow and measuring the time between sensor to sensor. So while they will work smaller calibers like those from BB or pellet rifles will be more difficult. Make sure to shoot across the sensors as level and straight as possible at a height of about 1.5-3 inches away. 3. Shoot from a distances of 10-15ft from the front of the chronograph. The larger the load the more muzzle flash there will be and that muzzle flash can have effect on the readings.

Answer:	Mine exploded as well first setup, first shot. A perfect .277 hole in the center of the LED and a fist nice fist sizehole in the south end where the battery came flying out. Word of wisdom ; if your scope is mounted 4" high , you must aim 4" high above center or yours will explode as mine did, duh. Sorry but really glad others are having same problem as me. Makes me feel less stupid.

Answer:	HOwdy, as long as the paintball gun shoots over 5 feet per second it will work. I do recommend some way of shielding the front of the chronograph in order to protect from paintballs that rupture coming out of barrel.

Answer:	After you have finished your round of shooting you have to activate save. Tap on the save indicator on your screen. Only after you save the group can you edit it. Then tap the menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen and when the list drops into view choose edit. Once you tap edit you can delete or write in what you wish. When finished and you try to leave that edit mode it will ask if you wish to save the edit you just performed or revert back to original data. If you are comfortable with your edits choose save.

Instructions for use

1: Clamp the tachometer on the round tube that fires the projectile.

(Note: Be sure to clamp the test after testing! Never test against the test, or test against the fixture! In this way, it is not easy to measure the speed, and it will hit the speedometer.) The front end of the tube cannot exceed the fixture seat too much. It is enough to be level with the fixture seat or slightly over it. Please refer to the picture description at the last side)

2: Do not use in strong sunlight.

3: Power on, wait for the test status to be displayed (the display panel shows a stable "- -" for the test status) to start the speed test.

4: Make the measured projectile pass through two sensing areas in parallel from front to back, and the measurement is completed

1: Speed measurement mode: Do not do any operation after power on, it will automatically enter the speed test mode.

2: Speed additional energy measurement mode: input the mass of the projectile after powering on. After the input is completed, "long press" the function key once to save and exit. Question:	Anyone know if a portable battery pack would power this
Answer:	Don't know for sure but it probably won't work for archery. Especially if the arrows are all aluminum. Also, you would have to fabricate a mount that would screw into the stabilizer thread. A better choice might be a unit that uses doppler radar.
Question:	Does this unit use grams or grains for its bullet weight
Answer:	Take off your hand-guard, see if you can attach it to the barrel. If it's a shorty or a middy it should work that way... just watch that you don't burn yourself on the barrel with the hand-guards off!!
Question:	Will this work with .25cal pellets and slugs and will it measure over 1000 FP-s
Answer:	Mounting the unit on the trigger guard of a pistil would probably be difficult, at best. Mounting under the barrel of a revolver could probably be achieved without too much trouble. I don't think it would work with a semi automatic pistol due to the movement of the slide. Remember that with a revolver there will be some gas escaping from where the cylinder and the barrel meet. That gas will be going toward the mount of the chronograph.
