Question:	Is this completely water tight, to leave in my backpack on a motorcycle on my way to school
Answer:	It tightens nicely, haven't experienced leakage from it, only problem is the water bottle isn't durable. It dents easily. There's a brand called Takeya water bottles that are a little more durable and keeps your water cold for hours. Costco sells them from time to time at 2 Takeya 40oz insulated bottles for 32.99 or so, my husband was a lot happier with those than he was with this Laken bottle. I hope my advice helps.
