Answer:	I handwash. I am sure it can go in the dishwasher, but the different dishwasher soaps/chemicals may cause water spots and staining. I leave mine on the counter on display (and I use also) so I want it shiny and spotless. So it depends on your needs. Personally, I would only handwash.

Question:	I may have over looked this but is the inside coated with a lacquer
Answer:	We use the bottoms as single use but recycle the lids. They are sturdy and could all be hand washed and reused.

Answer:	I use mine in the freezer and then to microwave. No trouble at all. Putting the kid on was a little tricky and I broke a couple until I figured it out. They work great for soups and stews to take to work.
