Answer:	I know that silicone is pretty heat resistant and it might work but it'd be too risky for me personally..plus having to be right there with it wouldn't seem very time efficient. It's a great bowl though. I have several and use them often. I hope this helps you in some way.

Answer:	No way are these lids leak proof, (CB-20), or suitable for carrying liquids or dry products of any kind that you don not intend to spill if not kept on a stationary surface.My lids are more like loose fitting covers that allow the three bowls to be stacked, (just like they were initially packaged), or as they are shown in the picture. With the lids in place you cannot even tilt the bowls sideways without the lids falling off when they have wet or dry contents.I just visited the Progressive website and they have introduced a new product with leakproof lids, CB-25.

Answer:	Hi there, that's a difficult one to answer as it depends on the dog. The 5 cup bowl should be fine. We have a friend with a labrador of similar size and they use the 5 cup with no problems.
