Question:	The description says it has a rechargeable battery but also says it requires batteries. Which is it
Answer:	The rechargeable batter is garbage. I read reviews that said it fried instantly, and mine did. Nevertheless, a full set of C Batteries, will last a very long time. Ours lasted a whole year, using it during 5 or 6 events, with several hours of usage each time. However, it doesn't really turn off...so, if you want the C batteries to last, you need to undo the latch. It has some sort of a power saver mode that kicks in after a period of non-usage, however, it still drains the batteries quick if you don't unlatch it when you know it will be setting for awhile. Overall, I love the megaphone, but would chose a different brand based on these weird issues.

Answer:	I am no where near an audio expert but I would think that if you have a 250W Radio Shack receiver, you should be able to use 5 of theses 50W speakers.

Answer:	There is no power input. However there is a rechargeable battery pack which worked for 4 months and then just died. Since then comma I've been buying D batteries from Costco. You get a certain amount of life and then it's time to replace 8 D batteries. I have not tried d rechargeables. Mine did not do siren so I figured it was the batteries. I have had mine for two years and ir has worked great until now so I am going to give it a pass until I check the batteries.

Answer:	It can be used as a megaphone and has a siren noise but no bullhorn.

Answer:	There is no record function. There is only the normal broadcast mode as well as an auxiliary mode.

Answer:	Yes, it does, but i didnt get a DC cord with mine. I need to contact the seller to find out what the deal is. The box said it came with a DC cord

Answer:	Funny you ask.... I live in norther Wisconsin 40 mins from U.P I've had these speakers mounted outside of my gazebo for 2 years now still work perfect. Highly recommend these my mailbox is 500 yards from my house with woods in between you can still hear them. I ordered 2 more for my wood shop lots of wood dust still work.

Question:	What is the sound level of the megaphone
Answer:	The sound level is 'good' for my purpose in using this megaphone. I communicate to someone in my home who is extremely DEAF and they hear me fine now and I do NOT have to strain my voice to be heard. I also like this particular model because it is a good size for the counter top and very easy to use.

Answer:	It's pretty lightweight. It has a strap, but it's too short to wear around the neck. You could probably attach it to a lanyard though. Although, that might make it a little too heavy. I just tried to do it, and the lanyard couldn't hold it.
