Question: I am 5'0, it looks like someone 5'3 said it fits here on the lowest setting... is this bike to big
Answer: Whether this bike would fit /work for you or not is somewhat of a matter of opinion and personal choice. The S4023C Ladies Wayfarer (Cream) hybrid bike has 700c wheels. They do not have a max weight limit, however, they field test those bicycles for up to 250 pounds. For the casual bike riders, most individuals use the size (diameter) of the wheels: 20", 24", 26"...etc to make the selection of the bike they wish to purchase. Bikes measured this way have frames designed relative to the tire size, so the larger the tire, the larger the frame. Some bike manufacturers may use a simple overall bike measurement such as x-small, small, medium, large, x-large; the bike size is usually on a sticker somewhere on the frame on other brands. User questions & answers

Question: What type of bike is this? Is this bike suitable for use on roads, sidewalks, pavement, and occasionally dirt trails
Answer: Hi Elena. It is mainly for road and pavement riding.
Question: Is this a good bikes for a first road bike
Answer: Yes. I bought one a couple of months ago and I've put over 380 miles on it. Trouble free. It's no carbon fiber, high dollar bike, but I did ride the Hotter-n-Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls this year. Averaged around 14 mph. I mean, if you know you're going to want to ride a lot, and you have 1200 bucks to throw down, go ahead and get a carbon fiber framed bike, I guess. If you're not sure, though, this is a very safe investment.
Question: im 5'9 will it fit me
Answer: Yes it ought to fit. (Answering for other people that might be viewing in the future). I'm 5'8.5" and my legs are average to maybe slightly below average length. I can ride very comfortably but I have just barely enough top bar clearance. I don't feel like the bike is too big to the point where it's dangerous at all but it's definitely a smidge too large for my build. I'd still recommend to anyone with a similar build (or taller of course) as its value as a daily rider is worth maybe a slightly not-quite-right fit. I would however strongly recommend anybody 5'8" or shorter to give this some consideration and if at all possible find one to try out at a local department store if possible. I really think this bicycle would be too big for anyone even slightly shorter than I am.
Question: What is this bike's weight (not shipping weight
Answer: 26 lbs. i measured it using a fairly accurate bathroom scale (with and without the bike). you can lift it with 2 fingers.

User questions & answers

Question: Can you sit straight up like a cruiser? How are the handle bars swept back
Answer: No, you cannot sit straight up like on a cruiser bike. The handle bars can be adjusted, but they will not allow you to be positioned without bending over a bit. It can get tiring at a point but not so bad that you will have back pain. I just let go of one side of the handle bars and sit upright to stretch my back. I also changed the seat which makes the bend and ride bearable. You are sitting up and bending over slightly at the same time. It's a good smooth riding bike. No problem shifting gears or braking. I really enjoy riding it. Hope this hepls everyone.
Question: im a man only 5 2 in. will this bike be to tall to ride
Answer: Though I don't own this bike, in my opinion, this will not be a good fit for a 5' 2" man (I am of that height). You will need a small frame (15" or lower) bike. Some 700C bikes come in that small frame but would require some research. Probably you can ride this bike, but for safety reasons better to look for a small frame bike. The critical aspect is the top tube height. You should be able to straddle the bike without your crotch hitting the top tube. For a ladies bike, it shouldn't be a problem as the top tube is shaped differently.
Question: I am a senior wanting to ride for fitness, trips to the grocery store, around town carrying light camera gear for nature shots is the bike 4 me
Answer: I am 70 and do exactly that. I bungie cord a plastic basket on the back and carry milk etc 4 miles one way from the grocery store. The 21 speeds are great because I ride into the wind and ride back in much higher gear. It came mostly assembled and needed no adjustment. Keep the tires at 60 PSI and it flies and will outrun a younger person with balloon tires. I have had it for 1 1/2 years and ride it everywhere. Do change the seat to a cloud 9 one for comfort. Get it you won't regret it.
Question: is this bike okay for someone 5'1''? somewhere I read 700c wheels means 29 in, i can ride 26" bike comfortably, but not 28". Thanks
Answer: If you are 5'1", this may be too large of a bike for you but each user has a different preference/comfort level. Schwinn Discover Women's Hybrid Bike (700C Wheels) model S5397 has an 18" frame according to the manufacturer. 700c wheels are different than a 29" wheel.

Question: What is the best rack for this bike
Answer: Good question, I got a seat post type rack for my bike. Looked awesome on the shelf matching anodized paint and all. Put it on the bike and it looked horrible. Even thought the bike is a hybrid, the cruiser type racks fit and look better than the mountain bike type. The best looking and fitting racks are the ones made by Schwinn.
Question: I am 76 years old. I am not in excellent shape but in good shape. I want to start riding a bike. What type of bike is the easiest to peddle
Answer: I'm 74 at 5' 4" tall, so i purchased the Schwinn Suburban Sport. It has several gear range settings that make it very easy to peddle at your desired speed. The gear selector on the right handlebar is simple to use , just turn the numbered selector to the number you prefer. I start off in a lower number and shift up to a higher number after i get going. I choose this bike because I can straddle the bar while standing with both feet on the ground yet the seat will adjust to most any height . I did change the seat to a wider more comfortable one, other than that it has been a great bike.
Question: What size tires does this bike have
Answer: The tires on this black Suburban are 26 x 2.0 inches. Thank you.
Question: Where is this bike made
Answer: I believe in Taiwan

User questions & answers

Question: Would the mens size small fit a female? I am
Answer: Hi There - The small frame Sycamore would have an approximate stand over height of 29.62". It's possible you would be able to ride the bike at 5'4 depending on your inseam. That will be the most important measurement in determining ride-ability. Thanks, Jen
Question: What is the ip rating on this bike
Answer: Great question! The Schwinn Sycamore 350 has IPX5 rating - it can take low pressure jets of water from all directions - limited ingress permitted. This means it's great in the rain, just don't use a garden hose or high pressure washer to clean the frame.

User questions & answers

Question: I'm about 5'10" and have an approximate inseam of 32" and am wondering if medium (53 cm frame) is the right size for me
Answer: yes, it will fit you, I am 5'8", inseam 31 and this frame is perfect size for me.
Question: what is the weight limit
Answer: There are a number of field tests around 250 lbs but this isn't a limit. Considering factors that impact how much weight a bicycle can withstand include the type of riding, proper assembly, bicycle maintenance, and tire inflation. It's most important to make sure the bike is properly assembled, maintained regularly and that tire pressure is checked as often as bike is ridden.
Question: Does this bike have holes for a water bottle mount
Answer: Yes it has 4 with the screws as per my son. He loves this bike.
Question: will it fit someone
Answer: No, this Medium is a 21” frame (53cm), good fit for 5’8” - 6’0”. I have a 21” Specialized hybrid and if fits perfectly, and im 5’10” with a 32” inseam. Oddly enough, Schwinn calls this a medium frame, but most other makes call 21” a Large frame so watch for that. For 5’4” you’d want a 17”-19” frame, but other factors come into play. If at all possible, try to find one locally and sit on the thing and see how it feels, then you’ll know for sure. Having the wrong size frame for your bike is like having the wrong size shoes, the comfort level is gone.
