Answer:	The ear pads are easily removed. I haven't worn the helmet without them, but I don't see it as being an issue. I've not tried removing the liner.

Answer:	It stays cool when you remove the ear pads cause there is ventilation along the top and back of the helmet. However it also keeps you really warm if you wear a beanie under the helmet and use the ear pads. I use this helmet from -20 to 50 degrees and it works great in every condition I've put it in.

Answer:	The cord out of the helmet is female, but it also came with a seperate audio cord to use to plug into your device

Answer:	Mine came a bit a tight on the forehead as well. I ended up making a jig that squeezed the sides of the helmet in while I used a blow dryer to try and heat mold the helmet in a shape that fit my head better. After some tinkering I got mine to fit great.
