Answer:	These are good to about -10, then I use the black diamond guide. They can handle that weather. They take alittle bit to break in, but your fingers stay very warm. There spendy 100 dollars for them, but so worth it. I do use the burtons alot though.

Answer:	I believe a large is 32 inches. I wear a size 7 and sometimes a 9 in jeans. I got the large and they fit well. I would recommend you size up. Hope this helps.
