And, I wanted to try this new snow pants yesterday and I am totally disappointed. I would not recommend these pants unless you want to get wet after playing in snow.

Answer:	Pants have both a snap type button and a drawstring which is actually better than I expected. I don't like drawstrings either but this one is sort of inside the waistband and isn't annoying like some can be. I highly recommend these pants...I just got them and am wearing them all the time. They keep their shape but have a nice amount of stretch. Not too thick or thin and block wind pretty well too.

Answer:	I think the 1X would work for you. I originally ordered the Large and I'm a 10-12, it didn't fit, so I reordered in the 1X (because the XL was out of stock) and the 1X fits well with a little room to spare.

Answer:	I found these snow pants to be warm, but not bulky, and waterproof/resistant. Used in New England weather for shoveling/snow play/skiing. I was never cold and was actually almost too warm...this was a mild winter though.

Answer:	You probably could wear a medium but I don't think they will be long enough on you. I am short and bought the small t9 wear over pants, so they are very big on me, but they are not too long for me. You might want to try a snowpants that has a tall size because these might be too short for you. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I purchased a 34/30, but I think it really depends on your body shape. I weighed about 155/160 at the time. They fit with leggings/long johns underneath and they kept me warm (I went snowmobiling in the mountains while it was snowing). I am very pear shaped, so happy to report they fit.

Answer:	I'm 5'7" and the XXL were plenty long for me. I think they would be long enough for your height. They were quite baggy in the waist and legs. I returned them.

Answer:	No there is not a zipper and I don’t think they would fit over a bulky ski boot. They are shaped like a regular pant. That is one of the reasons why I like them.

Answer:	They are more of a straight leg. Not narrow at bottom. Not flared or bell bottom at all. There is no gaiters underneath. My opinion is they would be too bulky to tuck into boots.

Answer:	Are we talking ski boots? I doubt it. There are no zippers to expand the pants at the ankles. Even if you're talking hiking boots you'd be dirtying the insides up the legs

Answer:	I absolutely LOVE mine and they have been worn in several snow and sleet storms and I've sat in the wet snow but I have not asked if they are waterproof, I can only say, I have stayed dry. Not been worn in actual rain though. Still, they are AWESOME!
