| Answer: | I have a FL20 and a FL26 Plus, and this carb kit is an exact replacement for both of them. Basically if your machines original carb has the yellow choke leaver then it should be the same. Be sure to use the included tool to properly adjust the fuel mixture, if you’re not sure how to do it correctly then take it to someone that does, because if it’s to lean you will ruin the engine, to rich will foul plugs. |

| Answer: | YES! Which is why it is nice to have the included adjustment tool. The one that looks like a screwdriver. It is nice that the kit contains all the spare parts to solve most of the common issues. One small problem, after installing the new replacement carburator, and getting a sore arm pulling the starter rope, while trying the full range of adjustments, I was never able to get my Weedeater to run with the new carburator. The kit would be a great value for the price if it works. In part, I bought the kit because for the price, I thought the time I would save by not having to tear apart the old carburator to try and fix it, was well worth the money. If it had worked, I would have been a winner. I doubt for this price if much Quality Control check time is spent on the unit. Maybe I just got a lemon. Considering the value of all of the included parts, I didn't think the hassle of returning it was worth the effort. I spent the time tearing apart and trying to fix the old carburator -FAIL! Found the carburator salvaged from a unit that threw a rod worked great. |
