Answer: 40lbs or so. Comes in really small cardboard box. You will never get it back in box once you take out though! This thing is super dope BTW but doesn't last very long. I took out maybe 12 times and had to throw it away. *** I was by no means gentle with it.... Used it as a party boat with many naked bodies drinking and attempting backflips off it. It gets holes and after about 100 bicycle tire repair patches I had to say goodbye. Make sure you get an electric pump. hand pumping is a major buzz kill. You'll need an anchor too (I used a rope and 45lb dumbbell). Big time chick magnet so you have to regulate rules about backflips. Also: keep dogs off... They try to dig through it. Hope this helps.

Answer: You can buy pumps that plug into your vehicle power outlet for 20 bucks or so. We've been using those for years but they take about 15 minutes to blow up the whole thing. This year I used a battery operated leaf blower with a shop vacuum reducer and I can now inflate in about 2 minutes. It's amazing compared to the way we used to do it!

Answer: Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. Answer: Yes, the seats are completely adjustable and removable. This is a very sturdy little boat as well. We have two and myself, my 12 year old daughter and our Border Collie all ride in one boat together.

Answer: I own both kayaks and I would rather go with the explore to kayak, the reason is the Explorer - is self bailing has better seats that raise you out of the water in the bottom of the boat has an upturned nose to keep water from splashing you paddles are better quality. I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.
