Answer:	Hey man, These fins are great for freediving but I would say to long for swimming laps. Go with a normal length fin for swimming laps and snorkelling. These fins when swimming along the surface are too long and require a wide kick and are best suited for swimming under water. Hope this helps, Cheers

Answer:	No. You could possibly wear very thin dive socks (neoprene) but these are basically made to be worn on bare feet.

Answer:	I wear a European 43 or an American 9.5. My feet are a little wide, and the 8-9 size fits me a little snug because of my wide feet, but I recommend this size.
