Answer:	Interesting you asked. I had a Christmas light bulb drop and break in a carpeted closet the other day. I grabbed the grabber and started picking up the slivers of glass with it. There were just too many so I finished the task with the vacuum. If your pill was on carpet it might be “iffy” to grab, if on tile floor you could probably grab it with no problem. The fingers here are coated in soft rubber and that is a plus for “Grabbability”.

Answer:	I am suffering from severe sciatica and most times find it very painful to bend or stoop. I love my Grip and Grab for picking up al those socks and other items I routinely drop in my day. It can pick up even tiny items.

Answer:	I have a 24" model that I have used for trousers and socks after knee replacement surgery. The length of item you need will depend on your height. I am 5' tall, and the 24" is perfect for picking things up off the floor. Measure your reach from floor to comfortable arm placement before buying.

Answer:	I would suggest tongs instead of grabbers for picking up eggs. I cook a couple of dozen boiled eggs every week. I used tongues to get them out of the carton and into and out of the steamer. This helps me to avoid getting burned.

Answer:	Hi, friend, trust me, 2 packs are really convenient. I bought a grabber before, but it was really inconvenient when it disappeared. Now I have 2 packs, even if one is missing or broken, I can use the other one immediately. And I can put one in the kitchen and one in the room.

Answer:	I haven't tried that yet. My guess is, you probably can, if the plate edge has enough of a lip to allow one part of the grabber to get under, and then squeeze the trigger to allow other part of the grabber to clamp around. However, if the plates are heavy (like mine, which are white ceramic like restaurant plates), I wouldn't try it unless you have a soft cushioned surface below it so that if it does drop away from he grabber it won't break. I love these grabbers! They pick up alot of things. I can actually pull out wet just-spun laundry and place it in my dryer (as well as remove dried clothes from dryer). My washer/dryer are so low to the floor, and the reach to the back of either makes me twist as well as bend. The other day I picked up a rather small pill that I dropped that I was going to give my dog. Amazing that it grabbed such a small item off the floor! I picked up my boots one at a time, as they are quite heavy. And did so with ease. I don't have use for the shoe horn, as I have a very long steel one that I use while standing, that reaches to the bottom of my knee-high sorel snow cat boots. The list goes on and on. I saw that some pictures show reaching to high shelves to bring down canned goods or glasses, etc. I think for safety's sake, I would place those items on shelves I could reach without the grabber, unless the individual was in a wheel-chair. And if that was the case, I think I would make available the items I use daily at arm's reach anyway...I am planning to buy a 2nd set of 2 so I have one in my car and one on every floor of my house (3 levels).
