14 best behringer car speakers
Behringer is primarily known for its products in the musical instruments and audio equipment industry, including studio recording equipment, effects processors, and amplifiers for musical instruments. However, Behringer does not have a significant presence in the market for car speakers, equalizers, feedback controllers, or other automotive audio equipment.
If you are looking for car speakers or related automotive audio equipment, you may want to explore other brands that specialize in car audio products, as they would be more likely to offer a broader range of options tailored to the specific needs of automotive audio systems.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you get a wireless mic to work with this speaker |
Answer: | Make sure all of your equipment is properly connected. Do not use a device that removes the ground on power cords. I had a computer power supply plugged in with a ground eliminating adapter and it created a lot of buzz. I set the volume, treble, and bass all to 12:00 on the speakers. |
Question: | too much hiss, how can i eliminate the hiss |
Answer: | Depends on the job. Technically speaking one of these speakers has enough punch to be way more than audible in a medium theater (50'x40' stage, 300 seat house) at about 1/3 volume. I own three of these speakers that I use for my full DJ rig, but if there's some retreat, a beach party, a workshop day, or something that just needs a bit of ambiance music (requires only an iPod and some way to project the track) I'll bring one of these in and adapt 1/8 stereo to 1/4 mono through a DI box and the end result is fantastic. If you're DJ-ing indoor dance floors or something where coverage, volume, and quality are all concerns and your paycheck is one the line, then you'll probably want to go for two speakers to reduce dead-space on the floor. |
Question: | is it a necessity to purchase a pair or does one get the job done |
Answer: | I run my Android phone to it from the phone's headphone jack. However, as I learned after purchasing the speaker, you cannot run the full (stereo) signal back to the Behringer. This PA is strictly mono, so the cable I use is like this: http://www.amazon.com/Cable-feet-3-5mm-Stereo-Splitter/dp/B0016LFN2C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1384901986&sr=8-3&keywords=stereo+cable+to+rca You will have to also purchase an adapter like this: http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-Cable-GPR101-Inch-Adaptor/dp/B000068O3S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384902095&sr=8-1&keywords=adapter+rca+to+1+4+inch. There are two there, but since your Behringer only has one input, you'll plug one of the two RCA ends of your cord into the 1/4" adapter, and the adapter into the Behringer. You won't be getting a stereo signal, but with most music, you won't notice it unless you're an audiophile. |
Question: | can you directly plug in an ipod to it with the right aux cord |
Answer: | "Self-amplified" speakers are known in the business as "ACTIVE" speakers. Even if you don't read the product descriptions carefully, you can tell the difference from the pictures: active speakers need their own power, so in addition to the usual audio jacks, you'll see a power input, a power switch/button and a volume knob. Passive speakers (like this one) will only have audio jacks -- the power and volume are provided by an external amplifier. |

Answer: | I dont see the use of it!..Why a keyboard???? |
Question: | Hum from speaker after pairing. Has anyone else had this problem |
Answer: | No I have not . Best speaker I have owned. |
Question: | Can i plug it in to 240 voltage |
Answer: | I only used 120 V, three phrase .Haven't tried 240 V as yet, so I can't make any recommendations. Thank you. |
Question: | if i get 2 of them ,will they play in stereo |
Answer: | When I first hooked them up I said to myself that it sounds like they are playing in stereo...and yes they sure will...suprised me but the do play in stereo...checked it out with a stereo left right song and confirmed it...hope that helps...very nice speakers when you get them set right...TC |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this speaker be ideal for home karaokee for a room size 15'x |
Answer: | It has combo inputs, so you shouldn't need an adapter at all to use a 1/4" mono cable as your input. |
Question: | What kind of a adapter would I need to quarter inch mono cable |
Answer: | Because it is a stereo signal and a mono jack the signal gets messed up. You need a 1/8th inch (headphone jack) to DUAL mono 1/4 inch. Plug those into inputs 1 and 2 and turn the channels up equally. Then it will sound fine. |
Question: | I tried plugging in my phone with a 1/4inch trs to 1/8 inch aux cord and it sounded awful as if the music i was playing was mono..how can i fix this |
Answer: | No, it is not battery-powered. |
Question: | Is it battery powered |
Answer: | You can plug anything you'd like into re 205, but I wouldn't recommend using it for a bass amp. Could be used as a low power practice amp. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can you use sep. effects petals, i have a volcal harminizer effects petal, can that be hooked up to my mic |
Answer: | Yes! It gives a clean sound, easy to carry, and loud enough for medium size places. I used these for church and they were perfect. |
Question: | Can I use it on 220V |
Answer: | 600 watts !!! No way, try to compare this with another amp such as Roland keyboard amp.I own a Behringer K1800FX, rated at 180 watts, same look and physical size as this one and I would say it delivers about 80 watts at most. This kind of output rating gives me lot of doubts about the manufaturers of lower quality brands (such as Behringer, Pyle, etc...). ROLAND, FENDER don't do that. |
Question: | Can I use this as a vocal amplifier/PA |
Answer: | I know this is an old question but my answer will apply to just about any amp with a stereo link. A stereo link allows you to connect another amp. The output sends the signal to another amp and the input receives the signal from another amp. Adding another KXD12 using the stereo link would give you a total of 8 channels to work with. I can also say that this will also function as a built in effects loop because I have used it that way. |
Question: | Is this amp mainly used for keyboards or acoustic guitars? What is it best suited for |
Answer: | Yes, this amp sounds nice for that. However, if you are looking for a LOUD amp this one might not be enough. I recommend you use a preamp or boost your output signal to the KXD12 for best results. It also works good when connected to a PA system. On a side note, I have had intermittent issues with the built in effects unit and the eq sliders are a bit delicate. Overall, for the money I paid, I’ve been happy with the KXD12. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this device be able to take a stereo signal, have it processed by a linux machine and then output the modified stereo signal to it's RCA outputs |
Answer: | If the device is plugged into the linux machine via the USB cable, it will do this for you. With this hookup, it will produce a 2 way signal, even simultaneously, 1 going into the computer, 1 coming out from the computer. If need be, it’s even capable of looping an output signal back in, say to a recording app on your computer. Just make sure you flip the little black monitor switch to the off position to eliminate distortion, and the signal looping back in will be crystal clear and strong. |
Question: | Do I need to buy a separate cable to use this product? I'm not really sure how the I/O system works. Can someone explain? Thanks |
Answer: | Not sure of your intended use for this product.I bought the UCA222 because the earphone jack on my Dell laptop went bad. It worked really well for my needs, it has a USB plug that connects to the standard USB port on my laptop. Then I connect my earphones to a standard plug on the device. No other cable required for me. |
Question: | Can you connect to a USB power supply and use the analog to S/PDIF output |
Answer: | I don't know about the S/PDIF but I suspect it won't work very well. I tried using the analog in to headphone jack using a USB power supply and it sounded terrible. I thought it would be a way around having to use a computer and it didn't work. Once I plugged the UCA222 into a laptop instead of a power supply it sounded way better. |
Question: | Can I connect 5 of these to get 10 independent audio output channels generated by the computer via usb |
Answer: | There's nothing technically preventing you from connecting 5 of these to get 10 independent audio outputs. If your software supports it, your computer will just see them as 5 individual audio cards. The problem your likely to run into is your computer does have a limit on how many USB devices can function simultaneously (USB Bandwidth). One way around this problem is to use a Quad USB PCI Card, that has 4 USB port and each one in it's own controller. The next thing you will need to consider is how many PCI lanes you have (will determine how many USB controllers your PCI bus can support) Hope this helps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can i use this to hook up my 6505+ to my m-box |
Answer: | If you have the combo version, it has an XLR out already, so no DI required. The head version doesn't seem to have this option, so you could use the preamp out, but I'm not sure if you could hear a difference between using a DI or running the 1/4" into the line level input of the M-Box. You'll lose the tone you get from the power amp tubes either way. The main point of a DI is to convert a 1/4" instrument signal to a balanced XLR signal if you're going into a stage snake. Effectively running a 50' or 100' 1/4" cable will generally introduce noise and reduce signal quality, so the DI is a great option. I've used this passive DI box in live situations for the past year, and it's worked like a champ. I run my tracks (from an iPod) through it. |
Question: | Can this reduce a speaker level signal to a line level signal? E.g. if I wanted to take a speaker level and connect it to a mixer |
Answer: | YES. The other answers are not accurate. This device as well as many other DI Boxes can make a Line Level 'copy' of the high power signal going to a speaker. This is a common use however this yes comes with a major caveat. The source (1/4 " INPUT) can be a highly amplified signal, such as the speaker output of a 100W guitar amplifier. The output signal (XLR OUTPUT) will be what the mixer wants (Line Level). CAVEAT: There must be a load connected to the THRU (Parallel OUT on this device). This load can be a speaker or speaker load simulator, basically what you would normally connect to the amp. Without a load connected, no signal flows and nothing will be output. Worse yet, without a load connected, many amps will fry. Amp to DI box to Speaker(1/4" OUT) and Mixer (XLR OUTPUT) is commonly used by guitarists. This allows the PA Mixer or Recording Audio Interface to get all the good sound that the guitar signal chain has built, only missing coloring from the speaker cabinet. If needing your speakers to be silent while still getting a good output on the XLR, adding a decent amp Attenuator or Load Simulator after the DI Box can reduce the power reaching the speaker to or near zero. Note: Many higher end Attenuators and Load Simulators have a built in DI Box. |
Question: | I want to record digital piano and play live at church. Should I get Pyle-Pro PDC21 for $8 or is this significantly better |
Answer: | A normal DI box is $50 so I wouldn't go too much lower than this. These seem to work well. I've only had one go bad in the past year or so and I purchased like 8 for my church. |
Question: | Does this work for connecting the sound output from a PC or MP3 player into a PA system using a Stereo 1/8" TRS to Mono 1/4" TS cable |
Answer: | Yes that should be fine! :) You would also need an XLR to connect the DI Box to the PA. |

User questions & answers
Question: | how long do they last before charging them |
Answer: | When I purchased the Mics Bundle I also purchased the Yamaha MG102C 10-input Stereo Mixer Bundle W/(2) 20' XLR balanced Cables for mics & (2) 18.6' Instrument Cables The Yamaha stereo mixer is a very good pre-amp, mixer, with good tone controls. The out-put of this mixer-amp I then connect it even to a simple guitar amplifier of 20 watts, and I get a very good P.A. system going, and it serves so well for a gathering of 50 to 70 people in a hall, or a picnic spot, or family get-togethers. The point to always remember is to keep the mics/use the mics behind the speakers, or maximum just in line with the speakers facing the audience. If you step ahead of the speakers, then the volume should be reduced or you will get feed-back - the howling screeching sound over the speakers. The Power amplifier I would suggest to purchase is Behringer EUROPOWER EP4000 Professional 4,000-Watt Stereo Power Amplifier with Atr (Accelerated Transient Response) Technology by Behringer. You would have to purchase a pair of 2000-watts speaker boxes too. |
Question: | What type of amplifier do I need to use with these mics? I just need a mic for lectures, not music |
Answer: | You need a mixing board to connect to an amplifier. A very few amps have a mike connection where you can plug a mike directly into an amp and I have a DVD player that has 2 mike connections. Ordinarily you need a mixing board to plug one or more mikes into an amp. The mixing board I have is a Behringer 1202FX which is an excellent compact mixer and it connects to an amp with either a stereo RCA cable or stereo 1/4" plugs/cable using an auxillary or any analog line input. |
Question: | how does it connect to an amp |
Answer: | They are good, but very sensitive regarding angle and range, so you will have to prep your guests/co-hosts for distance and angle. The polar pattern is somewhat unforgiving to the person using the mic, but easy for the person mixing. These mics require a decent amount of gain. My Allen & Heath Zed10-FX can drive them with gain turned up to about 85%, which is nuts since this low-end board has mid-range quality preamps that are generally reviewed highly for their ability to drive even the SM7B without an external preamp. Be advised. |
Question: | I want to do some recording for podcast. We will be sitting around a table. Using a mix board and headphones. Do you think these mics would be decent |
Answer: | I never got to find out, they would not work for me. |

ULTRAVOICE XM1800S
Few things are more essential to recording or live performance than dynamic microphones. Ask any sound engineer and they will tell you to keep as many as possible on hand. Behringer has bundled a set of 3 great-sounding XM1800S dynamic microphones into one impact-resistant case, with stand adapters and mic clips so you’ll be ready to capture your sound in brilliant resolution.
What is a Dynamic Microphone?
Dynamic mics have several advantages that make them ideal for live applications or recording amplified instruments. They’re robust, resistant to moisture and can achieve high gain before feedback. These microphones’ cardioid pickup pattern is designed to capture the source signal, such as a guitar amplifier or vocalist, while shunning off-axis sound.
Why the XM1800S?
If you take a look at the stage in any club, you’ll probably see at least three dynamic mics for the vocalists, with even more for the drums and amplifiers. This convenient package puts three great-sounding mics at your immediate disposal. XM1800S mics provide super-clean sound with minimal distortion, a slight presence lift in the critical mid-range – and an on/off switch for breaks in the set.

User questions & answers
Question: | Pro-grade TRS to XLR microphone cable - are these ok with the Behringer C |
Answer: | These mics can work fairly well as overheads for drums, or on a hi hat. You might even get decent results on acoustic guitar, small percussion devices like wind chimes, etc. Since they are small diaphragm condensers they aren't meant to pick up an entire band with complete accuracy as a stereo pair. Of course they can record all the instruments, voices etc you described if the sources are set up properly and the sound is balanced in your recording space, but they won't provide a balanced frequency response, especially in the bass and low-mid regions. I have a pair and use them occasionally for non critical applications. For the money, they are ok at best, but they will not provide the quality sound that a well-made matched-pair of large diaphragm condensers would. Names like AKG, Sennheiser, Shure, Rode, Audio Technica and Neumann are just a few companies that make truly professional mics that would get the job done properly. |
Question: | Has anyone use these on drums? live, recording or even a rehearsal that you mixed down with bass, guitar, horns, mutiple singers ect |
Answer: | We have a small "underground" church and our choir sings in an isolated room due to limited space in the main hall. Using these mics, we are heard in the main hall as if we are actually there. We used to have miking problems before and these guys instantly solved them. The result is the same whenever we are in bigger venues where we share the same hall. Really warm and responsive. We are a choir of 7 to 15 singers by the way. We've been using them for almost 3-years now and they never failed us. If they get lost or broken, we won't hesitate to buy again. I also tried recording with it (vocals + acoustic guitar) and I am so pleased with the result. I'm buying a pair for my personal use and will just use my trusty Shure PG81 to mic my amp. Rea |
Question: | Has anyone used these mics for a church choir? Do you believe that these will work well for a church choir |
Answer: | If I remember correctly.... it's a 2-pack of mics with mic stand adapters. When I bought them, I don't remember them coming with windscreens. It would have been nice, but I definitely didn't get a dual mic stand adapter (stereo-bar). I just check Behringer's website, and they don't mention what accessories the mics come with. I checked PSSL, a competing store, and they mention inclusion of the stereo-bar and windscreens. They come with a carry case. You'll need XLR cables with XLRs on both ends, NOT XLR to 1/4", as they need phantom power. If your mic inputs don't provide +48 V phantom power, you'll need a 2 channel phantom power power supply, something like the Elite Core PPS-2 (here on Amazon). You can't put betteries into these mics. I've had great luck with GLS XLR cables, they're just as high a quality as the more expensive cables. |
Question: | What do these mics come with? (single or 2 pack mic, cables, stand adapters, ect |
Answer: | I have bought 2 juicers of different brand. For my old man and mother-in-law. And got this one for myself. According to my experience, their performances are similar. But this juicer has a longer spiral and squeezes more juice. Above all, it costs not that much. |

Three Stereo Inputs
The DX626 features three dual input stereo channels with gain and 3-band kill EQ (-32 dB). Kill EQs can be lowered to a much greater extent (-32 dB) than they can be raised (+12 dB), very useful for fading a frequency range out of a music track or other applications.
The first channel is also switchable to studio-grade ULN microphone input, for use with the manual talkover function.
BPM Counter
The PRO MIXER DX626 BPM counter is an extremely useful feature. It ensures smooth transition from one track to the next, making your session an absolute success. It can calculate the various tempi of tracks in bpm (beats per minute). The left display indicates the tempo on channel 2 and the right display shows the tempo on channel 3.
Monitor Function With Master/PFL Mix Option
The PFL signal is your headphones signal. It enables you to preview music without affecting the master signal. The headphone channel signal is taken pre-fader (PFL=Pre-Fader Listening). With the three buttons CH-1, CH-2 and CH-3, you determine the signal source for the headphones signal. Preview the channels individually or listen to all three simultaneously.
Gooseneck Lamp Socket
Connect a commercially available 12-volt BNC lamp and get a better view of your board, even in the darkest gigs.

User questions & answers
Question: | I didn't really understand the inputs on this mixer. So I have 3 electric guitars, and an electronic drum kit. Can all of these, with mic,be connected |
Answer: | This mixer does not have sufficient mono channels for your application. Channels 2-3 and 4-5 are stereo inputs (meaning they are contolled with the same fader). Some of the larger Xenyx mixers will get you the inputs you need.... something with at least 5 distinct faders to control each instrument's mix individually.Hope this helps. :-) |
Question: | Does this mixer support 48V Phantom Power |
Answer: | Most microphones do not require 48 volts of phantom power. Many condenser microphones only require somewhere between 4 and 12 volts. You should check your mic. It looks like this is a 15 volt feed. |
Question: | Can this mixer connect to a PC via a soundcard |
Answer: | Yes, to an analog soundcard. All you need is a 1/8" stereo to dual-RCA cord. Mixer has both input and output RCA capability, so you could feed the output of the mixer to the line/mic of the soundcard or feed the output of the soundcard (line out/speaker out) to the input of the mixer. There is also a headphone jack on the mixer so that could also be patched back to the soundcard's line in/mic. For me, I am usually running the PC speaker out to the mixer RCA input -- the volume is controlled by the Main, and then I can either use headphones from the mixer or run the 1/4" output into my guitar amp. Hope this helps. |
Question: | What does the 2 track input do |
Answer: | The 2 track input allows you to connect an external music source to the xenxyx mixer and then into an amplifier with speakers or headphones using the outputs located near the top. The external music source can be anything that has the red and white RCA outputs such as a cassette/CD player or VCR/disc player (the red and white input/output for the 2 track are called RCA connectors). This is so you can plug in your CD player and also a microphone and an instrument that has a 1/4" output such as a guitar or electric piano and have it all mixed together. Just below the 2 track input are a couple of buttons that allow you to choose whichever output you want, either headphones or amplified speakers (main out). The 2 track outputs on the mixer will allow you to send the vocals and/or instrument mix to a recording device that has the red and white RCA inputs. I hope this helps. |

MICROMIX MX400
Despite its ultra-compact size, the MICROMIX MX400 4-channel line mixer is really big on features! Providing the highest sonic quality at all output levels vs. the competition, the MX400 features ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers for outstanding audio performance – the same chips as the ones found in its much bigger brethren.
Connections
Expanding on the capabilities of standard-size mixers is where the MX400 works its magic, for instance when it is used as a sub-mixer. If you are running short on available channels on your 'big' mixer and need to add 3 more keyboards to your mix, just connect them to the MX400, dial-in the mix – and connect MX400’s output to a single input on your main mixer. This is just one example of how the MX400 can add versatility to your current setup – just imagine the possibilities!
Small and Superb
The MX400 is the ideal solution for mixing multiple line-level signals on a budget. Sure, it’s as cute as a button – but you’ll want to own one because of what it brings to your performance. And the MX400 is so very affordable. Check one out at your Behringer dealer, or place an online order today!

Ultra-Compact 9-Band Graphic Equalizer with FBQ
If we all lived in a perfect world, there would be no need for audio equalization. Sound systems would be perfect and would reproduce perfect signals in all their glorious perfection. Also, everyone in that perfect world would like the same amount of bass, midrange and high frequency, and there would be no such thing as feedback. But the world isn't perfect, is it? Even the best sound system can benefit from the use of a good EQ--like the FBQ800.
![]() Even the best sound system can benefit from the use of a good EQ. Click to enlarge. |
![]() 1/4-inch and RCA inputs and outputs. |
![]() Nine steps of graphic EQ. |
How Does it Work?
Imagine the frequency range of the sound you hear as a highway, a very wide one with nine lanes. Each of these "lanes" represents a single octave of the sonic spectrum. The first four lanes, labeled 63 - 500 (Hz) contain the really low frequency sound content, mainly bass, bass vocals, and the kick and tom drums. The three lanes labeled 1 k, 2 k and 4 k (Hz), make up the fundamental zone of most musical instruments and the male and female vocals. 8 k and 16 k cover the frequency range of cymbals, snare drums and higher pitched percussion instruments. The FBQ800 allows you to control the flow of audio traffic in each of these nine lanes. When properly applied, EQ makes it possible to hear all of these frequency ranges equally, thus the term equalization.
Feedback Elimination
When a specific frequency, or range of frequencies, reaches too high a level, feedback occurs--that all-too-familiar squeal or howl you get when the mic is too close to the speaker. Basically, feedback happens when there is so much of a particular frequency that it is picked up by the mic and run through the system again. That's why feedback typically gets louder and louder the longer it's allowed to occur. Needless to say, this kind of feedback is very undesirable.
This is where the FBQ800's Feedback Detection System really works its magic. In this ingenious circuitry, LEDs on the individual faders light up when that frequency band is approaching the danger zone. All you need do is lower the illuminated slider until the LED blinks out--voilá, feedback problem solved! What once required a highly trained ear is now an activity that even a child can master.
Sonic Toolkit
That really is the best way to describe the FBQ800. With its nine frequency bands, you easily fine-tune your sound and instantly eliminate feedback. And each fader can be used to boost or cut the frequency range it controls by as much as 12 dB (and that's a lot!).
Special attention is paid to the low frequency zone. In addition to low frequency faders, the FBQ800 features a Low Cut filter for removing unwanted low frequencies such as fl oor rumble, room resonance, electrical hum, etc. This is especially handy if your system is being used for speech rather than music.
To Boost or to Cut, That is the Question
Raising and lowering specific frequency bands can improve the frequency response of any room's acoustics. For instance, if the room you're in is "bass-heavy," lowering the 63 and 125 Hz faders can help eliminate an overall "boomy" or "muddy" sound. Likewise, gently boosting the 8 and 16 k sliders can add sparkle to a somewhat "dark" mix. Are the vocals getting lost in the mix? Raising the level of the 1 k slider can help bring them out.
It's important to note that raising a single fader level is not always the best solution; it's often better to lower the bands surrounding the frequency you want to bring out, and then boost the overall volume level to achieve better headroom.
Built for Accuracy and Reliability
Speaking of headroom, FBQ800's 6-digit LED Input/Output meters and level control are provided for precise level maintenance. Longterm reliability is ensured, thanks to high-quality illuminated faders and switches, and our ultra low-noise audio operational amplifiers provide outstanding sonic performance. In addition, all Mini Series components may be stacked to create an ultracompact signal processing solution.
What's in the Box
Behringer FBQ800 Ultra-Compact 9-Band Graphic Equalizer, Power Supply, User's Manual
- Ultra-compact 9.5" graphic equalizer for studio and stage applications

User questions & answers
Question: | What type of cables are required to hook this up between an amplifier and yamaha receiver? Much appreciated |
Answer: | Both |
Question: | Can you adjust each channel (left/right) separately |
Answer: | Nope, the only things lit are the little indicator lights for power +/- 12dbs and something else. |
Question: | I see many mention that they use this for helping hearing loss by using this unit with headphones. My question is how do you use this with headphones |
Answer: | They are very clean sounding eqs. |
Question: | does it connect to amplifier |
Answer: | First, this is not a player. This is a tone control with instead of just the normal bass, treble and high, divides it into 31 (from 20HZ to 20KHZ). Also, this model is mono (1 channel). You can get 2 of these or get the stereo model. You still need an amplifier and a player. You hook this up between a like a CD player and your amp. |
