Question: | Did this come in an unmarked box? It is a gift and I don't want the packaging to be too obvious. Thanks |
Answer: | Can't remember what was on the box, but we figured since it had to be assembled a bit and the battery had to be charged, we would do that all the day before giving it to our grandson. I decided to make a game out of finding it and arranged clues all over the house eg: go to your room to find the next clue, etc. and I had someone else put it in a room with a sheet over it and the last clue directed him to that room. Turned out perfect as he was able to get on the Scooter and ride it immediately. Have fun, and make sure he/she has that helmet on. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this be driven on the road or sidewalk? Where would the child ride this? Thanks |
Answer: | This uses the smaller 12v batteries, about 2.5" width, vs the larger 3 .5" . It come with a 7ah battery, but you can upgrade to the 9 ah, that is worth the money, longer run time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001NJ3H0C/ref=twister_B01CUXW8Z4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 My grandsons run their ride on toys until the battery is drained, every time. I have been keeping extra batteries and swapping them out, but those were the larger size. Instead of buying more of these smaller size, I will be getting the lithium batteries. I have not used them, but have been reading the reviews, and it is worth it, even at $99 per 12v 10 ah battery. I will buy one set, that will free up a set of the 7ah that I can swap out on one of the other vehicles. Yes, I have a garage full of ride on toys, with four grandsons under 10 years. Some of the drifter vehicles on my list are good until the boys get to be 16. The better batteries just make sense. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JK06CK8/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2Z473XH9CX7Q&colid=2Y23SBUSNYDG4&psc=0 The actual ride time is based on many variables, weight of the child, throttle use, terrain, riding style. One child by himself may get bored before the battery drains, but with four of them, they take breaks, then get back on to ride again. In round numbers, an hour with stock battery. A 7 ah SLA battery is just not enough ride time, when the boys visit weekly, but do not live here. |
Question: | my grandson is 10 but weighs 150 lbs |
Answer: | The kart has different frame settings that make the entire kart shorter or longer, and its easy to adjust with an allen wrench. My 5.5 yo grandson drives it fine but he is about the minimum length to reach the pedals = 3 feet 10.6" and it is a stretch. |
Question: | What’s the difference between frustration free and standard packaging |
Answer: | Either the Minipro, or Ninebot S will work with this kit. Segway says the mini lite will NOT, work. Both the MP, and NBS are nearly, functionally identical, the primary difference is the knee bar, which plays no role in the GoKart’s function. |
Question: | How do you stop it if there’s no brake |
Answer: | 220lbs |

Question: | I have two boys--older is 9 and approx 58" tall, younger is 7 and approx 49" tall. Is the MX650 too big? What about MX |

Answer: | I don't think so.. a neighbor has that one.. it's a gift for my son for Christmas.. yellow black is great my son rode it. But got this color because friend had yellow/red |
Question: | After owning this bike for about two years, after a full charge the bike still doesn't go at full speed, it's much slower. Is this a battery issue |
Answer: | We bought this for our 11 year old, and it's the perfect size. These bikes are made smaller than they appear. We were looking at the one below this one and were so glad we went with bigger size. Our son is 4'7" with a thin frame. He will probably get a year, maybe 2 out of it. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Has anyone else noticed this very loud? Im wondering if mine has something wrong with it |
Answer: | It shouldn't be very loud..it makes a little noise but nothing thats hugely noticeable |
Question: | Does this come with a charger |
Answer: | I got this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. It charges easily and last a good amount of time once charged. It does go pretty fast so I do not recommend for use for younger than 7'sh. It is very sturdy and I felt comfortable allowing my son to use as long as he wore his helmet. I did have to replace the battery after a year of use but I expected as much. It was used quite often. |
Question: | What age is recommend |
Answer: | Hi...im not an expert only a overprotective parent..lol....but my daughter was 11 when she got hers...in my opinion...i wouldn't have a child under 10 have a motorized scooter. They do go at a decent speed so anyone under 10 I would be cautious with. Most important, have your child wear a good fitting helmet and always make sure an adult is supervising. They are fun...i use my daughter's. If your child is under 10...they have a kick scooter to get them use to balancing and it's fun as well. Hope this helps. Happy holidays🎁🎁 |
Question: | Is there a Protection plan |
Answer: | I'm sure they offer a plan. I did not buy it. My girl loves it never had a problem yet |
