Both bikes are extremely heavy, but here's how my Dolomite breaks down: Front wheel complete is 11.6 lbs. Rear wheel is 13.4 lbs. That is 25 lbs just for the wheels(tires,tubes,spokes,hubs,disc) The rest of the frame weighs 23.9 lbs (frame, fork, crankset, handlebars, seat post and saddle) That is a lot of bike at 49 lbs.

Answer:	No absolutely not. I bought these for my nephew who's a goalie and these do not fit goalie skates at all. The company said they don't make them for goalie skates.

Answer:	Coming from a hockey background, I would not use these casually outdoors. Their purpose is to allow a player to get from ice to locker room or allow skates to be worn in between games but allow the player to move around. If they are just learning, check a second hand sports store for rollerblades instead.

Answer:	The blades attached not with screws. So detach them will be possible but harder. You have to ask about this work at any pro shop at an ice rink.

Answer:	I believe the Bauer S37 boot is more supportive than the Botas. My son likes the Botas, which surprised him since it wasn't a typical North American skate. The Bauers have a more molded feel to them, whereas the Botas feels more like a stitched shoe.

Answer:	That's precisely the reason I'm looking at this item. Not sure about the illegal in 47/50 comment, but this appears to be a good fit for mushing. From experience, I've found that a good set of brakes and large enough tires are all you need for a mushing set. Also, the smaller the scooter the easier it is to navigate if your pooch gets distracted by trail-side prey.

Answer:	It seems to me depending on the brand the sizing is all over the place. I have found that the Botas sizing chart is accurate by the euro sizing. I typically take a size 8 or euro 38, however wanted to be able to wear a warm sock so I ordered a size 7.5 that gives me a little more room in the toe area for socks. Size 7 would have been fitted. I hope that helps you and how you want your skates to fit.
