Comfort feet appreciate
The Performance liner of the Macroblade family is one of the most comfortable liners one can skate in and is a whole new level of fit for inline skates when combined with the engineered mesh uppers. The padding in the tongue and ankle areas cushion the feet for more comfortable skating. They definitely make the difference for beginner and intermediate skaters while also satisfying the fit and comfort needs of experienced skaters.
Roll with control
The 80mm/82A wheels blend speed and control perfectly. The SG5 bearings roll smoothly to keep a moderate skate pace with a controllable speed. It is an ideal wheel and bearing combination because the ride of an 80mm wheel does not make it too intimidating for those wanting a little less velocity. As skills become more developed, they can also be upgraded to a better wheel, 84mm wheel or faster bearing in the future to enhance performance and speed.
Secure fit & closure
The Macroblade structure supports all abilities of skaters comfortably. It has the ideal mix of flex and lateral support to enable longer skating sessions with less foot fatigue. The buckle fastens the feet with durability while the 45°strap and lace system anchors the heels in for the perfect fit to minimize heel lift. The durable aluminum frame helps keep skaters closer to the ground with its low profile design for enhanced balance and stability. Being closer to the ground when skating adds more response, makes the skater more confident and gives them more control with turning and maintaining strides

Macroblade 80 ABT W addresses the biggest concern of most skaters...how do I stop? The ABT (Active Brake Technology) brake system provides control and stability for new skaters who need a little extra confidence and support when stopping. Traditional brakes work very well, but can be challenging for some to use. Skaters have to lift their toes up on the braking skate and roll on just a few of the wheels which creates some potential balance or control issues. ABT on the other hand is activated at the cuff and allows the skater to slide their braking foot forward to keep all eight wheels on the ground adding stability and enhancing balance during the braking process. This results in a smooth, gradual braking motion which instills more confidence in the skater. ABT is also height adjustable so as the brake pad wears down it can be lowered to enable the foot to slide forward the same distance every time for consistent stopping power and technique. The ABT system comes on the right skate but can be switched to the left one. Using the brake will be easy and comfortable because the Macroblade boot will blanket the feet in comfort from the performance mesh and the wheel/bearing set is ideal for skaters to have the right amount of speed and control.
- IMPROVE YOUR FITNESS with the Womens Macroblade 80 ABT. This skate is great for casual inline skating and training. Great overall support and comfort with performance mesh and advanced stopping technology to help instill more confidence.
- FLEX AND LATERAL SUPPORT in the Macroblade structure has an ideal mix of flex and lateral support & features advanced Rollerblade braking technology to help skaters brake more gradually with added confidence & stability.
- COMFORTABLE PERFORMANCE LINER WITH ENGINEERED MESH maximizes comfort with added breathability and padding in the tongue and ankle areas. Buckle, power strap and lace closure secure the foot.
- TWINBLADE ALUMINUM FRAME is durable and helps keep skaters closer to the ground with its low profile design for enhanced balance and stability.
- ROLLERBLADE PERFORMANCE WHEELS 80mm/82A blend speed and control perfectly for those who do not want to go too fast. The ideal size for those wanting ABT and a moderate skate pace. SG5 bearings.

Question: | How good are they. Who likes to skate with these on |
Answer: | You will have to contact the reseller with the skate directly for this question. Unfortunately all we can answer here are product questions. Please let us know if you have any other questions. https://www.rollerblade.com/usa/contact-us/ |
Question: | Are these skates relatively fast, or are they slow enough to be good for a beginner |
Answer: | It looks like the brakes can be removed. I believe you would need a shorter pin, after removal, to hold the wheel in place. A shorter pin was included in the Rollerblade box. |
Question: | My shoe size comfortably is 11 4e. men's in US. What size do you recommend |
Answer: | It's not set for the larger wheels. You should look into a skate that is built with 110mm wheels. You can always drop the wheel size down to 100mm wheels if you like. Please let us know if you have any other questions. https://www.rollerblade.com/usa/contact-us/ |
Question: | I wear a 10 1/2 normally, should I go with a 10 or |
Answer: | I purchased the skates for my wife in a men's size 6 which is the size she wore in her previous Rollerblades. However, we had to get a men's 6.5 as they were too small. I would order a half size bigger and see if they fit fine. |

Exceptional Support For Learning
The foundation of any great skate is the structure (boot). The Advantage Pro XT is designed with a built in frame for newer skaters to have more control and response when skating. Having more control enhances stability. The structure also lowers the center of gravity to help with balance. Combine these things with the sleek, anatomical design of the shell and you have the makings of a high quality skate with great lateral support, fit and value to satisfy the needs of any entry level skater.
Generous Padding
The ideal way to complement the fit and support of the shell is to have comfortable padding. The lining is designed to improve the skating experience with strategically shaped and placed pads. This cradles the feet in comfort and reduces foot fatigue for longer more enjoyable skating. Ample cushioning in both the liner and tongue create a plush feel and ensure the feet are protected in every stride, push and forward flex.
Reliable Closure System
The buckle, powerstrap and lace closure system secure the feet inside the skates to enhance the fit and add additional support. When learning, newer skaters tend to forget how important the closure system is. Improper fit or support can compromise the performance and affect ones ability to skate. During the skate stride this system will securely support the instep and lock in the ankles to improve skating performance.
Smooth, Easy Roll
The wheel and bearing combination is perfect for a beginner. Speed and control are balanced nicely to create a ride that is not as intimidating but still provide a smooth easy roll. When learning, 80mm wheels will allow for easier turning while the ABEC 7 bearings will help the wheel spin more freely. The end result is moderate speed with less effort for easier learning.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can the brake be removed |
Answer: | not in this model as it is from 2017 and is almost sold out. |
Question: | Are these ideal for rougher surfaces? Or tiny sticks that may be laying on the ground |
Answer: | Well, they are mens size 10.5. Not sure what year is that model got to the market, but I have purchased them new in September 2018. There is almost no wear on the wheel (3-4 hours ride total on very smooth bike path surface). Since I cannot use the boots I figured out that if I don't find a buyer I can keep them just for wheels and bearings which are very good and can be used with my pair of new K2 skates (soft-boot). If I come across someone who want my Maxxum 84, I'll gladly sell them. |
Question: | Are these covered under warranty? I bought mine in April and the frame is stripped already |
Answer: | Acid green are men's and the turquoise are women's. I have the turquoise and they are true to size. I have size 6. The acid green in size 6 are slightly larger than turquoise in size 6. See if you can get size 7.5 in turquoise. There is also a slight difference in shape design between men's and women's not visible to the eye. Good luck. |
Question: | What is the difference between 3 wheels and 4 wheels |
Answer: | Woman here - I usually wear shoe sizes 8-8.5. I used a Brannock Device to accurately measure my feet. You can find these in most shoe departments (Dillard's, Payless, etc). My left foot is 250mm and my right is 245mm, meaning my foot's mondo point/cm is 25 and 24.5. My feet are narrow (width is A according to the Brannock Device) as are Maxxums. I have a medium to high arch. I then compared my size to Rollerblade's sizing chart. https://www.rollerblade.com/files/2244/SIZING_2_ENG.pdf I ignored the going up one sizing tip because I have narrow feet, am skinny and thin-boned (5'7" 120 lb) and prefer a snug fit. Too much space will give you blisters. I ended up ordering a EU39/UK6/USA Women's 8/USA Men's 7. I had difficulty putting my foot in (nylon socks helped me slip in) and they were super snug at first. After riding around and breaking in the liner, they fit perfectly. Hope this helps =) |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would these be ok for off road trails with some lose dirt or hardish packed grass |
Answer: | The skate comes with an Allen key which is all you need. It also comes with one shorter axle bolt and you should put that back in the place of the longer one you will remove to take off the brake. Please let us know if you have any other questions. https://www.rollerblade.com/usa/contact-us/ |
Question: | buenas noches que tiempo de uso tienen ? habría alguna forma de ver una foro de las ruedas |
Answer: | Three wheels. The foot is way too small to fit four wheels without turning these into a pair of skis. Fortunately a child this small doesn't really need 4 wheels as there isn't a lot of stress on the wheels and bearings. Also a 4th wheel will add a lot to the weight of the skate and for a small child this can be difficult. Please let us know if you have any other questions. https://www.rollerblade.com/usa/contact-us/ |
Question: | How do you stop |
Answer: | Short answer: yes. You get what you pay for. This are real rollerblade, so kids will do the real thing. This will give them the real experience. They will last for generations. |
Question: | Are 100mm or 125mm wheels applicable to this skate |
Answer: | This skate is amazing because you can put three 80 mm wheels on. the bigger wheels will roll faster and longer then the Roller Derby wheels plus the less wheel will be lighter making it easy to keep the energy level up. This skate comes with 4 wheels on each skate but buying a set of 80mm wheels is worth it, or you can get the Microblade that come with the 80 mm already installed. see link. https://www.amazon.com/Rollerblade-Microblade-Adjustable-Inline-Performance/dp/B07G9Y5Y33/ref=pd_day0_hl_468_16?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07G9Y5Y33&pd_rd_r=28431e37-7361-11e9-acff-01df0530b2b5&pd_rd_w=xuaRo&pd_rd_wg=BJQUI&pf_rd_p=ad07871c-e646-4161-82c7-5ed0d4c85b07&pf_rd_r=12VBT3G75N5JMRP4J65F&refRID=12VBT3G75N5JMRP4J65F Please let us know if you have any other questions. https://www.rollerblade.com/usa/contact-us/ |

One great feature of the versatility of the Macroblade 110 3WD is racers can experience a higher boot with the speed they are familar with and rec skaters can experience speed with the higher support they are familiar with.
Benefits Of Inline Skating
Improves coordination, agility & dynamic balance (balance while your body is in motion)
Increases Core Strength- Postural, abdominal, and back extensor muscles, get a great workout while skating.
Builds Aerobic Exercise Benefits- increases your heart rate and gets your lungs working, both components in aerobic exercise.
Builds Anaerobic Exercise Benefits- Inline skating provides anaerobic benefits, such as muscle strengthening and toning.
Weight Loss and Maintenance- Inline skating at 10mph on a regular basis not only burns about 6 calories a minute, or 360 calories an hour, but also turns fat into muscle - a double benefit.
Low Impact Exercise- While skating has the bone density enhancing benefits of being a weight bearing activity, the smooth push and glide motion has minimal impact on the joints.
Increases Self-Confidence- Probably the greatest fitness benefit of all is that inline skating is fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment as you tackle new fitness challenges.
Protective Gear
Inline skating is a fun and exhilarating activity but like other sports can include accidental falls or spills. Wear the protective gear whenever possible to help increase confidence as well as protect the body. Rollerblade has helmets and a great selection of pads to choose from. Bladegear XT offers quality protection at a value price. Lux Gear Plus and X-Gear 3-packs (wristguards, knee pads, elbow pads) introduce technical materials and elevated anatomic design for superior protection from the pavement.
Find Your Skate Size
Most skates follow your shoe size.
Once you have the correct size of skates it is always best to check the following items below to ensure a proper fit:
- The skate's closure system should be secured snugly ensuring the heel is locked in. It also helps to give the heel a little tap on the floor to push it into the rear of the boot.
- When standing with knees bent or skating, the heel should be secure and have no to minimal lift. In the skating position the heel tends to settle back into the skate and demonstrate the true fit. A skate that is too loose can compromise ankle support
- Toes should not be pressed against the front of the skate or cramped.
- Better skaters tend to like when their toes lightly brush against the toe area because they know their heels will settle back giving them the proper room and allowing the skate to feel like a true extension of their foot. This is all personal preference.
- Skate socks make a big difference in the performance and fit of skates
