Answer:	I am not sure. They are made of a heavy duty material, but we do not live where there are cactus with thorns so I am not familiar with how strong they would need to be. With that said they are great gloves.

Answer:	I think these gloves run pretty true to size. They are sturdy and have a little give to them. I bought them 2 years ago for both my grandsons. They are now 10 and 11 years old. The 11 year old had slender hands and they still fit with ease. The 10 year old has wider hands, but even though they are snug, he can still wear them. I did purchase the 7-11 year old size. They are definitely worth purchasing.

Question:	What is the fit like? Do they bigger, smaller or true to size
Answer:	I gave them to my grandson who is seven years old and weighs 70 lbs. I guess he is a little big for his age but I thought the gloves were a little small on him. He said they were fine and liked them but I wished I had gotten him the next size larger. The size I bought was for 6-8 year olds. My daughter said they were fine because he will certainly lose them long before he outgrows them. He has trouble keeping gloves around.
